Denmark really needed to win this one with England coming up next.

They now have to hope Serbia v Slovenia ends in a draw too, which could potentially make Serbia vs Denmark a winner takes all scenario.

I watched this for Hjulmand who is our player. My favorite Sporting player atm. I just hope he doesn't shine too much. We need him desperately for next year Champions League campaign. Made us forget Palhinha and Ugarte. Top player.
 
Second half was much more what I expected from Slovenia, they got a bit overawed in the first half hour as Denmark have quite a few players with big game experience. Sesko is the real deal.
 
Bad result for Denmark, but I'd still expect them to go through in the end. Nice to see Eriksen score. Too bad Hojlund did nothing.
 
Denmark-Slovenia has been the most boring game in the tournament so far. Hope England and Serbia deliver a better game
 
Somebody tell Southgate that Vaseline exists
 
Interested to see how the defence deals with those Serbian strikers. They have the potential to bully.
 
Not a single United player. I still think not taking Rashford was a mistake. He provides something different to the rest of the squad.
 
Hopefully Trent can hold his position and be creative . I have my doubts . Wide is the place you get more time and bad positioning can be recovered from . Central ?not for me . Hope to be wrong .

Yes, I must admit that I have underestimated Morten Hjulmand. And I think that many Danes have also underestimated the development he has had at Sporting. But he was really good in the 2 training matches against Sweden and Norway, and I think he will get his national team breakthrough now.

Sporting is a great club and Portugal is a great country. But it could well be that he comes to a bigger football league soon.
 
The push to sell Trent as the best passer in the world today has been a bit absurd... but it does indeed deflect a bit from Jude and Kane I guess.
 
What the hell is this obsession about fitting TAA into the midfield?!
I swear it only comes from the deluded Liverpool media because he had a good game once against San Marino or something

It’s certainly better than trying to paint him as a legendary right back when he can’t even fecking defend.
 
Trent in the midfield is so annoying, but other than that, let’s fecking go.

Mainoo and Saka I’d imagine. On another note. Will Trent get blamed for Rice being out of position and leaving the defence exposed I wonder?
 
Disappointed that Denmark couldn't see out that game since a couple of our players are with them. Unfortunately Hojlund had a huge chance to make it 2-0 which they will really regret not scoring. He had to put that into the corner.
 
England winning the "play as many right-backs as humanly possible" challenge.
