I hope PSG aren't getting the money for this by selling Cavani to us!
But PSG, Barca and Bayern and Brazil see something in himRight, kinda late to this thread so as a quick recap, is that 50m fee, or as the papers sometimes do, a fee + what ever wages they will pay him.
I assume its a full 50m fee which is laughable as he isn't that good

How do you know?I'm not saying he is a bad player, but for 50m, there is so much you could do that would be better than that guy.
Liverpool spending £35m on Carroll doesn't look as bad now.....Oh wait it still does. Funny as hell!
noodlehair on David Luiz:
How high would you be willing to go on wages for a young boy? Match Januzaj with his £5M signing on bonus and £60,000 a week? More?
This is still small beer compared to PSG's massive sponsorship deals with those well-known independent companies Harris Saint Germain ltd, Garis Paint Serman, & Platini Laundries plc.
Photos are coming in now of Luiz arriving in Paris.

£50m is crazy money for Luiz. We'd probably struggle to get that much from selling Rooney.
Which Luis?
Lol 50 million for Luis.
What is it with this kind of shit these days?
Have all the clubs got a massively overpriced disaster quota to fill before a certain date or something?
Liverpool- Carroll.
West Ham- Carroll.
Chelsea- Torres.
Manchester United- Feliaini
Spurs- their entire 13-14 squad additions.
Its mad that we could quite well end up with over 100 mil for Luiz, Mata and Torres!
We can buy players we need and stay well within FFP restrictions unlike City and probably now PSG.
And what is even madder is that it is probably still less than what you paid for them.

My guess is that Thaigo Silva are best mates and he is been telling the board to get Luiz. And the board is complying to keep one of their best players happy.

It seems insane. He has never been that good really and yet people are queuing up to buy him. I would argue that Smalling or Jones are better CBs, yet I bet no one would pay more than £15m for either, max.
It begs the question - bar Ronaldo, why do none of the players that we sell on ever go for more than minimum. Even people like Nani who has been one of the best wingers in the world is touted to leave for 10-12 million.

Young enough to play for another 5+ years at the top level. What do a club like PSG who only value short term success care about what happens in a few years? It really is the most ridiculous thing I've heard, transfer wise, in my life. It's not even like he's young.
