David De Gea

Wonder if it's the Italian press trying to Stir trouble at Madrid before the final

Seriously you lot, the fecking Sun?!

And Sky are just as terrible.

Does anyone else ever get the feeling that sky have some staff members who are fans of rival clubs and they troll the fcuk out of us?

Oh, UPDATE: SSN not yellow scrolling the DDG move anymore, but its now "Its our understanding"

The point is how much will you have to spend to buy the similar or a level below in the market with significant inexperience and inferior technique. not very less than 60 m. And there are marketing reasons to consider for a spain no 1 with the world cup looming.

For us, nothing, we already have one.

This is very pleasing to hear.

Firstly that the pricepoint is set at 60m
Secondly that we've rejected their initial offer.

If they really want him and he really wants to go, we will get a monumental fee for a GK it seems.

Our fans are very strange and am beginning to question if these accounts on twitter are actually United fans. After the skysports report of 60M bid rejected. One said, he will still leave for much less. It's like some fans are so eager to sell him to Madrid. I'm confused.

If you challenge their comments, they will say, I want him to leave so we can move on. Like wtf? Move on to where? Watching Madrid dominate for years to come? I don't get it at all.

There was no bid. We are not selling him. I hope Navas has a blinder in the finals and everyone is happy with the keeper that have.

They aren't really Utd fans. Most are probably liverpool fan's.

Real wouldn't offer that much and we wouldn't reject that much. Non starter.

Because it's a massive amount of money for a goalkeeper. No goalkeeper is worth that.

People asking for 80 are absolutely insane.

Oh, because it's a massive amount of money, we continue to sell our best players to Madrid?

Why would be accept 60m again? Just because that's a lot of money?

You don't sell your best players period. If you sell anyone then everyone has a price. Look how selling Ronaldo worked out for us. Look at how much Madrid payed for Bale. The price is initially crazy but the exasperation (see Pogba) withers and dies and now people are happy we have Pogba and don't think about the cost...and Madrid did well with Ronaldo and Bale. Unless we're forced into it, a player should have no value. That said Perhaps Munich should have sold us Muller but I don't think we'll see a dip in De Geas performances.

These guys are not United fans and I will continue to maintain that opinion. People like JJ12 are all over twitter with their Keane or Cantona avi wondering why the club rejected 60M pounds.

We have money but we don't have unlimited funds, if Madrid offer somewhere around £75m we will probably accept it.

Wrong. The only reason we will sell is if DDG refuse to play for us again. Not because of 60M or whatever. We are not a selling club.

Am beginning to think most of these fans don't know the club they claim to support. I think they just say GGMU, MUFC family and all those nonsense without a fecking clue on what Manchester United is or what it means to be a Manchester United player.

Why should we?

Because £75m for a keeper is a crazy amount of money? I love DDG and hope he stays but seeing posts like 'feck em we don't need the money' isn't true, no club in the world could just turn their nose up at £75m.

Like i said earlier, we dont 'need' the money, we have funds to spend but our budgets aren't infinite at some point we will have to stop the £100M+ summer spending spree's every year.

We aren't Burnley or Bournemouth. We turn over huge amounts of money every year and don't need to sell players. De Gea has been our best player for a few seasons and arguably the best keeper in the world. They could offer a 100m and if he didn't force a move we wouldn't sell. It would make no sense to sell on best players just to add a few more million to a already huge bank balance.

It's absolutely ridiculous to think the most valuable club in the world need to sell their goalkeeper for financial reasons.

If he's sold it's because he wants to go.

crazy or no crazy
If Dave doesn't want to leave there's no reason to sell him for whatever amount.

And yes we don't need that money.

And people then cry we are inferior to Madrid and in then same time think we should sell DDG to Madrid..

Its nothing about being inferior, it could be Milan or Millwall offering the money, the fact is £75m for a keeper is alot of cash.

So in the future if Madrid comes with a lot of cash for our best player we should sell. Cause it's a lot if cash?

All im saying is the budgets aren't infinite like some people seem to think. It seems easy to reject moeny now while were spending 150m every summer but that will stop at some point, it has too.
