If he wasn't the world's best paid goalkeeper I'd be less critical but its ludicrous that he is. I'd rather we just got rid, the sheer amount of money we'd save on wages would be enough to get a decent gk.
I thought so at first but it's just incredibly well-placed. Don't think he can be blamed.
Is he genuinely glued to his goal line? The amount of times he needed to come off and either punch or collect (and ironically the one time he punched is when he should have caught it). He invites too much pressure onto our back line.
He had more than enough time and space to catch it, and his two handed punch went maybe 15 feet. It made no sense when the pressure was on his team.

Another big game, another DDG distributive disaster. People wonder why we get dominated in territory when every time Varane or Lisandro has to pass it back to him it ends up in a useless hoof to the other team. He pisses down his leg under pressure.

The punch almost killed me.. wasn’t an Arsenal player within 5 yards of him 
Everytime the ball went to him, I shit myself. His distribution remains suspect....
Makes me sad to say but if we have the budget then we need to upgrade on him, ETH ball requires something else.
Suspect? His distribution today was launch it up to the Arsenal defenders so they can launch another attack.
That's not really what he did most of the time, though. Most of the time we tried to play out, and most of the time we lost the ball doing that. If he had launched it long every time we would have had a better chance today.
Not sure but he should've reacted way faster for the third goal, he's always scared of any physical contact.

That was an embarrassment of a second half. All the old DDG bad habits were well on show tonighy. At one point I was convinced he was chained to his line as he refused to catch several floated balls near the six yard box. And what was that fecking catch about.

Quite the opposite and the first goal came from shit ball to AWB....
He's not set and is off his feet when the shot is taken, both his feet are off the ground as he moves, by the time he hits the ground again to dive it's too late.
He wasn't set right but still it is what it is you lose your agility/reflexes as you age.
There was a moment where he could've made a straight forward catch but hit it away like a volleyball. It was very strange.
I lost it with him at that point. I think his distribution has improved hugely and think he gets a bit of unfair stick but Arsenal were all over us building momentum and he had an easy chance to take some of that pressure off and he punched it. Cowardly.
Basically this for me, the punch was unforgivable.

None of the goals were on him or saveable. Ramsdale isn't saving those goals.
Few jittery moments but let's be honest, the team were wank today and the fact the only complaints are about a punch shows he didn't really do anything wrong.
I really don’t care if he stays or if he goes, I feel like for every aspect of goal keeping he is good at there is another aspect that he is bad at.
Good goalkeeper, a legend for the club, but i suspect he might be viewed as a bit of a weak link for a side that plays out from the back.
Shaw, Martinez and Varane I expect 99 times out of a 100 to play themselves out of a press. DDG and AWB, i am not so confident about.

Not about saves. Distribution and sweeping is on another level.
There was one ball that came to him in the second half and there was absolutely nobody near him and he punched it away, not very well either. He has to take some blame for the first goal also.

Hoofed a ball unnecessarily straight out the sideline, played AWB into trouble before the equalizer, could/should have done better on Sakas goal, and completely unnecessarily punched a ball he should collect 10/10 times.
A good save on a close range shot (a shot a good GK should save tbf).
Should be a priority to strengthen the GK-position in the summer window, at least get proper competition.

It literally played us into trouble for the first goal at least.
His chronic inability to move off his line or catch a ball with his hands are sending ripple effects through our team. It puts the team under so much unnecessary pressure, it's insane.
The modern game with its high press isn't suited to a keeper so limited with his feet.
An upgrade will be needed sooner rather than later and ETH will know this already.

I think today is a perfect example of what DDG is all about. Shit passing, doesn't dominate his area but makes some absolutely immense saves...I honestly go from "Sell him" to "How will we replace him" every match...
Don't understand why when he's booting it away under pressure it's always down the middle and floated which hardly gets to the half way line.
