MadnessAbsolutely agree. Burnley is his level.

At the very least, and I mean the very least, his level is higher than Burnley. It was clear throughout the season that he was a level above his team-mates.

There can't be any way, surely he is their only striker purchase this summer?
Why is brenton just buying everyone English? Has he not seen the national side?
Yes of course. I'm just not sure where liverpool go from here with strikers. They need a top striker to replace Mr Glass, but it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere.Isn't it a bit early to say yet?
He's an upgrade on balotelli, who most likely will be loaned, but he can't be the only striker they'll get this summer.
Another banker for the scousers. Seems when they are linked with mediocre players, the transfers generally come to fruition. He doesn't look anything special to be honest but he's free, I guess that's a thing.
a good signing for them. Him and Milner are solid signings, better than what they already had.
Talent isn't everything though and he should easily outscore Balo's paltry tally from this seasonHe's nowhere near Balotelli level of talent, and that's coming from someone who likes Ings and would of took him here as back up.

They'll have to throw a few million Burnley's way, as he's under 24. If they can't agree on the fee it'll go to a tribunal.
Think they were talking about around £6m.
Do you think Liverpool will go for another striker now that Origi and Ings are already coming?Confirmed on the official website

If i was a Liverpool fan i wouldn't be so sure Origi and Ings could solve the goalscoring issue.
Aye, I thought the mentioned tribunal fee was around the £3m mark? Paying £6m might turn out to be poor business, could go either way, I guess.
I didn't know that. Can't see Burnley being happy with £3m but yeah, we'll see. I think they'll agree on a fee myself.
Don't think he's a 'next level' type of signing.

That's irrelevant, balotelli has been a complete and massive failure, he doesn't score goals at all, which is what strikers are for, ings in that regard isn't just an improvement, he's a massive improvement.
White text? The most sensible thing for brendon to do would be too feck sturridge off and build the attack around balotelli. People underestimate him but he could be brilliant. Ings would make more sense as a second striker to balo.
What's wrong with buying young and success hungry striker who already has decent PL experience?
