surely the tribunal fee will not be more than 12 million?
Even if it is more than £12 million, why would Burnley accept Spurs' offer and lose out.
surely the tribunal fee will not be more than 12 million?
Maybe Ings has agreed with Burnley to sign a contract so that they get a decent fee? Thats the only thing I can think of.
I'm not sure but perhaps they're lumping in the signing-on bonus and other related fees to get to 12 million.surely the tribunal fee will not be more than 12 million?
Am I one of the few people here who think he's a bit overrated?
If he's done that hats off to him.Apparently he said that if the clubs interested in him don't pay a decent fee, he will just sign a new contract.
I think it's only if they're under 24, so it rules Cleverley out. Not sure how they work out how much they need to pay though. How are these compensation fees figured out exactly? Like is £3million some kind of flat fee? So we'll get that for Cleverley? or is it based on performances, age and other shit? So we can still get a fair whack for De Gea next summer or what?
Sort me out.
smh also rules out De Gea. That Mendes sure is a shrewd bastard, who clearly hates United. BASTARD, damn you being half decent at your gig.
Maybe he's a person who'd like to show some gratitude and loyalty to a club that's been important and formative to him? This makes no sense, why would it matter to Ings if Burnley get £12 million? If he wants the move he'll end up there anyway.

Can see him doing well at Spurs - if Kane stays. They'd be a good pairing and it'd help the national side, but I don't think he could replace Kane should he move on.
Any of these moves are better than playing for Burnley in the Championship.
But I reckon his autobiography will end up being called, This Season's Ricky Lambert.

Who is more highly rated here... Ings or Austin?
Or Ings will only go if Burnley gets a decent compensation. I'm not a mind reader, point is that it's easy to make sense of Ings wanting Burnley to get more than just the tribunal, whether or not it's the case is a different issue. So Spurs have offered £12 million in the hope that Ings is emotionally attached to Burnley enough to potentially take their deal ahead of better offers?

Ings might have the potential to play up, depending on his next manager and how he develops. Austin is probably going to have a decent PL career without ever getting near a top 4 side.Who is more highly rated here... Ings or Austin?
They're both not good enough for a top four team. Austin is the next Darren Bent and Ings is the next Steven Fletcher.
