So Ronaldo wants Real Madrid to pay his £15M tax bill and this is his way of forcing their hand.
Or he can make Madrid pay the 15m and still say he wants out.Anyway I have a feeling we'll wake next morning with news of Madrid paying all his taxes and him being happy again.
I just hope the distraction doesn't enable Chelsea to sign Morata...
Makes him look guilty I feel. I mean how hard is it for him to get his taxes straight? All he needs to do is pay a weeks wages to the best tax company in Spain to look after his finances for a year. Probably half a weeks wages. Why throw is toys out the pram? All he needs to say is wow this is odd. Here's my tax firms number.
In a world where the cafe is happy to spend 90m on Morata and 50m on Perisic, 150m on Ronaldo doesnt seem bad at all. He can improve those two positions single handedly.
Or he can make Madrid pay the 15m and still say he wants out.
I suggest you take a look at those threads again.I'm not sure if the cafe is happy with the prices you quoted. I would say that it's the opposite.
June 31st.So what date is the homecoming?

It's this really. Madrid will most likely pay this too. They won't get a better player than Ronaldo anywhere.
So the Spanish press are Perez' bitches?
This looks like its serious. Even Sky has now reported it. Get in Ed!!!
Sky aint reliable. The source you're looking for is the BBC.This looks like its serious. Even Sky has now reported it. Get in Ed!!!
Why the hell would Real pay Ronaldo taxes? It is his doing, his fault or greed, he should pay it, not Real. If they pay, than other players might do same thing:" You payed his taxes, pay mine too". And yes, I know, he is Ronaldo, he can do what he wants..blah.
Anyway, don't like it a bit. What if Morata is thinking, "Well, if he is leaving, I might stay, let me wait for a while longer to see what happens"..
Raise your hand if you're not with a man, can I diggit?
It's about the damage to his image and his anger at the club which he perceives was at fault for it, and didn't protect him. I'm not sure paying whatever fines get levied at his feet by Hacienda will be enough...agree, it's 100% about the tax problem. He signed a fecking contract extension in November.
Ronaldo seems to be angry at the government, I don't see why he would need to pressure Madrid for 16m spread out over 10 years or however long his time frame will be.
It genuinely looks like he simply thinks feck Spain, I don't need this at 32.
Naah! Pretty confident he'll stay. No way Madrid allow 30% of their goals out the door like this. Apart from that, Ronaldo will most probably pipe down after a few days. If the booing and white hankies after a one-man-show in a CL QF didn't see him quit, this won't either...It's about the damage to his image and his anger at the club which he perceives was at fault for it, and didn't protect him. And i'm officially freaking out

We are the most valuable club in the world. If anyone, we could do it.I eat my own words, it's on SSN yellow ticker!
So maybe taking Zlatan off the wage bill gives us a better chance of affording him.
Can one of caf experts explain whether we can afford his buy out clause, his wages. Because I'm under the understanding only PSG and some Chinese team could realistically afford with, regardless of image and shirt sales we'd get back. Simple question, could we financially pull it off?

This is like having an ex girl, who is a solid 10, that left you and despite this you've never quite given up hope of a reunion one day. Then, after several years, when you think you have moved on and finally got your life back on track, whilst trying to build something through dates with new (admittedly less attractive) suitors, she messages you out of the blue saying 'I miss you'. Then, with courage you tell her you want her back, that it could be as good as it was before, but alas, you never did hear from her again..

Well exactly why you get a top tax firm to do it for you. Who's doing his taxes? His mum? Surely there are hundreds if businesses, footballers, etc who also have to comply with the tax regs? I can't believe the excuse but its too difficult.Spanish Tax is notoriously difficult. They move the goal posts and refuse to advise.

We'd pay for it with shirt sales in the first few days, except for the fact that is not the way our shirt deal works and even Real Madrid was not truthful when they said they paid for Ronaldo with increased shirt sales.
