Just been told that Swann has gone for an X-Ray on his left hand, I hope this isn't true.
Lloyd has just said the same thing on Indian TV.

I hope the bloody IPL gets banned and we stop losing players like Sehwag to injury after every edition.
You wish.
I expect us to get out for less than hundred. Set your expectations low, the only way then is up (or down).
You're a moron.
Very important we manage the first thirty overs. We should take a cue from Broad and Swann in the sense that they were able to score so quickly against the older ball. That's when the game will open up for us like it did for England. The hard part is surviving till then.
Worrying part is who else have we got to replace him!How long has Bhajji got in this team? He's getting from bad to worse with each passing game.
Test cricket my friend.I can understand not taking risks but this is taking the piss from India.

Still 19 needed to avoid the follow-on.
And he needed the batsman to throw the wicket away rather than any great bit of bowling. When I saw your thread titled 'players living off past reputations' I thought you were referring to him. It's shocking that he hasn't ever been dropped from the team over the last God knows how many years.
It's frustrating. Atleast give Amit Mishra a chance.

WTF?
England scored some 9 runs in their first 7 overs. You lot are embarrassing.

We should bring Kumble back out of retirement. He'd do a far better job than Bhajji.
What I don't understand is how there's been no noise about it. It's as if he's got too great a legacy to be dropped which he clearly hasn't.
The news channels did criticize him heavily after the Lords test.
The only news I see regarding Bhajji is with regard to that ad and Mallaya.
Need another wicket tonight here. Anyone know how many overs are left or what time close of play is?
England unlucky not to have had a couple more wickets. But I think England are in big trouble here. I think the 3 wickets will decide the match.
So that wasn't bad at all. Got England all out for 220(which should be much less though) and only lost one wicket in the last twenty overs.

Yeah. I'm happy with the day's play. Had we finished them off for 150 we would have had a HUGE advantage. As things stands, it's pretty even. But it seems there's definitely going to be a result here so we can't say we don't have a chance. It's up to the players to take it.
I think Dravid and Laxman did pretty well to survive this. If we can get a 75-100 runs lead, then we would be in pretty good position for the match.
Again, why did Laxman come up ahead of Sachin today? Is Sachin still suffering from the fever or was it just tactical?
