Semifinal 2: Argentina - Paraguay

So, let's see if Argentina have learned their lesson after the last time they played Paraguay. Paraguay just need to take on Argentina's right side once again as it still looks relatively weak. Argentina just need to not slack off and get too casual, and they can have a decent chance to win the match. They've been able to create lots of chances against many teams; they just need to finish them. They also need to protect the right side better than they did previously.
 
I'm always down for an upset but it would be a bit of a shame if we didn't get Chile v Argentina at this stage.
 
What a strike from Rojo. Somehow, he was able to direct that to the corner of the net, and this match should hopefully open up some more.
 
Both Otamendi and Rojo are quite aggressive and challenging for everything. di Maria is key to make sure that there aren't gaps on the left side for Derlis to exploit.
 
Not sure whats Messi doing on the right when he wont/cant be bother to help defending,not saying he should just their right side is a bit open.
 
Why does Rojo have to try to get close and challenge every man he's marking as a left back? He could have taken care of that better by not trying to get close to Valdez right there. As a central defender, he doesn't do this as often as he does as a left back.
 
That was a somewhat easy goal for Argentina. Paraguay uncharacteristically disorganised themselves, and this allowed Argentina to take advantage with Pastore finding the space and attacking it. The finish was sweet as well.
 
Martino should consider taking Messi and Mascherano off at half time.

But then, when it's all starting to work maybe you need to let them crack on.
