I agree wholeheartedly with all of that.No problem, we all have different experiences in life. Next time you get a senior position in a firm that needs to do something different and the employees sabotage your efforts because they are adverse to change, let me know how it feels.
Fergie built a culture of "us and them", "never say die, and winning was the objective of the game". The senior players should have continued that with Moyes. Sure Moyes should have sold a vision, but the players should have backed him. I can't believe with Moyes experience that if something was proven not to work he would not change it. More importantly, the players should have done their job on the park. Too many didn't, and then they go running to board members like spoilt brats.
At the moment I am really bitter towards the players as I do feel they have let the club down in so many areas. Moyes, wasn't up to the task, but the attitude of so many players is appalling.
If that is true, shame on them.
Personally, I think if I was Moyes, I would have accepted that the job was to big and offered to resign. Then again, I think if the united board had balls they would have made it clear at Xmas, that it was top 4 or your out on your ear.
But players revolting as though they have anything to be proud about this year is a bit of a joke.
Maybe you are right. It's just that he has left us in such a mire, I feel relieved more than sad. There will be a brief moment when I see him leave the Carrington that I will feel bad for him but I will immediately feel happy that he has left and we will get a better manager in.

At least he'll have his health back.
It's painful to see him aged that much
So all's well now then. MU become just like every other club as they go down the road of sacking managers when things get tough. God help the next guy.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy he is being sacked. It's the right thing to do. Feeling sorry for him would never be enough to keep him in the job.
But, I can approve his sacking yet feel sorry for what he has been through. Week in week out he goes in front of the media. He reads articles about what he has done to a giant club. He looks at the players he has contributed to being crap. He looks at the table and sees history written. It's not unfair, that's part of top level management. But separate that from being a human, just imagine how painful that must be. I don't think money can fix that feeling. The feeling you've made millions of people around the world angry/upset. That you've let them down. The club down.
