Maybe you are right. It's just that he has left us in such a mire, I feel relieved more than sad. There will be a brief moment when I see him leave the Carrington that I will feel bad for him but I will immediately feel happy that he has left and we will get a better manager in.
I feel relieved for him.

I dont agree with you me ftiend. I believe the senior players who have more experience and feel.about the club where well within thier rights to complain about underskilled manager.
No problem, we all have different experiences in life. Next time you get a senior position in a firm that needs to do something different and the employees sabotage your efforts because they are adverse to change, let me know how it feels.

Fergie built a culture of "us and them", "never say die, and winning was the objective of the game". The senior players should have continued that with Moyes. Sure Moyes should have sold a vision, but the players should have backed him. I can't believe with Moyes experience that if something was proven not to work he would not change it. More importantly, the players should have done their job on the park. Too many didn't, and then they go running to board members like spoilt brats.

At the moment I am really bitter towards the players as I do feel they have let the club down in so many areas. Moyes, wasn't up to the task, but the attitude of so many players is appalling.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really pleased we've accepted our mistake and cut our losses.

Officially on the club website. Just want to know the fate of the coaching staff and who our new manager will be.

Well, in the space of 18 hours really.

This time yesterday, I had no idea we would be Moyes-less today. Now, interesting to see how the club will pick the next manager.

Should be good to have Giggs as interim for a bit :D

That happens, but it's not always black and white.

We will never know the truth, but if the players really give him the benefit of doubt at first, I can't fault them. There's only so much a goodwill can last.

It's not like the players are deliberately sabotaging him from the start. :nervous: they don't right?

It's a shame it didn't work out but this was the right decision. All the best to Moyes in his future jobs, I genuinely hope he does do well.

Seems someone was just waiting to change the thread title.

it feels like '99 and '08 rolled into one.

nearly. well, it doesn't. but it could do. that's how far we've fell this season.

It'd be hilarious because Drifter said so. Even more so if we were relegated next year, imagine the hysteria here HAHAHaHAHAHAHAHAHA

From finishing 12th to now relegation. This possible sacking as got you all giddy.
