Confirmed: Moyes sacked.

Err, am I the only one who thinks it's an obvious pisstake? Seems like it's exactly something you'd see on Sport Relief or something.
Even if it is he's still obviously a complete and utter looper. He exposed his bollocks to his Bayern side, that's enough for me to label him insane.

Lads can someone summarise the news for me? I was up to page 30 and then I went, so I'm way behind. It seems the leak came from the club and the sacking is coming tomorrow, what else did I miss?

Nothing you don't already know tbh. Just speculation really.

Moyes joined Twitter, called himself Mr. Unsackable and started f*cking Rio out of it

Think that's exactly what we need, someone who won't stand for underperforming or not afraid to voice his opinion. Would much rather have a exciting/slightly crazy and strong minded manager then a boring guy like Moyes in charge though, that's for sure.
True, but look how our players reacted this season when the going got tough, they all shrunk.

Nothing, really. Just speculation. I'm in the middle of posting various articles on the caf twitter feed (https://twitter.com/red_cafe), but there's nothing in them apart from discussion on where it went wrong.

Moyes maybe sacked, we don't know.

Van Gaal maybe his successor, we don't know though. Giggs may take over interim, but again, we don't know. And Klopp could be interested, but we don't know.

Thanks the replies everyone. I'll have a read Damien. BTW does anyone know why the club is holding until tomorrow?

Ah I read all that, so not much happened for next 50 pages or so.

“I once dropped my pants in front of the entire squad. Because I wanted to make clear: when I make a substitution, I don’t do so for my own ego, but for the sake of the team. I do everything for the team and I use everything I can to illustrate that. My voice, my mind, and everything else I’ve got. This shows the strength of our team sprit.”

Rooney, are you listening?

True, but look how our players reacted this season when the going got tough, they all shrunk.
Or you can look at the season before with Fergie, when they all stepped up to the plate, came back loads of times to win it and were just brilliant mentally. Think it all has to do with the manager, and Van Gaal is definitely closer to Fergie when it comes to motivation and man management then Moyes is.

Nope. Van Gaal is actually known for having poor relationships with players, especially the stars.

I really hope we don't sign him. He may succeed for a season or two, but his tenures usually end in disasters. Not a fan of him, and I really hope we don't appoint him.

Absolutely, I'd fear for some of our dross next season if van Gaal was waiting for 'em in the dressing room. I think a lot of our players require an arm around the shoulder rather than a berating.

Imagine Van Gaal joining Gary Neville in the sky studio.

Van Gaal: " What do you mean it is not the "United way"?

Dropped his trousers and showed his bollocks to the team to show how big his balls were and how he ran the team. Luca Toni confirmed it.

Good lord. I already thought he was as mad as box of frogs but indecent exposure? The guy should be sectioned!

gotta love this from Van Gaal

Oh my, I do love him!

I think as a team, moving from a character like fergie to a character like Moyes must have been a real eye-opener; those hairdryer stories would scare the shit out of any player, and would give you drive to play your heart out in the next half, and Moyes just seems too nice not to do that. van gaal on the other hand? He seems to have no issue with doing this .

Don't think Cleverley would fare too well to Van Gaal showing him his balls if he told Cleverley he had none, seeing as he seemed to be hugely affected by the fans alone
Pretty sure Nani and Young would both be off too under Van Gaal (plenty would argue that should happen anyways though). Both have always seemed weak mentally, and although I rate Nani highly, he's always been one that needs an arm around the shoulder as you say, rather then a hammering probably.

Well no, Ferguson only erupted once or twice a season when necessary, he's maintained that. For the most part he was friendly to the players.
I agree that severe bollocking was once or twice a season probably. But you could see fergie fuming on the touchline almost in every match. A lot of the times it was aimed at the players. And anyways, I think our players need that berating so that they grow some balls and do something on the pitch. So I won't mind Van Gaal. He might prove a disaster if the players act like crying sissies but he would do some good nonetheless with his training methods.

 81 pages. Damn, this blew up quick. I was a Moyes supporter, but my faith has faded so whatever happens, happens. I feel bad for him though, he seems like an alright man. He just made so many odd decisions. And the results don't help. Klopp please! :D

I think Geoff Shreeves might get the worse of enduring Van Gaal, so much that Geoff would ask his bosses to be sent elsewhere. To show the best of Van Gaal, here's some for fun:

Of course, Dortmund will try defending themselves as far as they can. Still, it doesn't mean there's no way we can land him. The thing that will matter will be the first offer United might make: if the first offer is already solid and substantially high, then you can bet talks will get serious.

Please go all out with the offer, Woody. *touches wood, crosses fingers*

Disagree.

Money might be a massive thing for a large percentage of managers and players in football, but not for everybody. For me Klopp is one of the main people who you can clearly tell is loyal. I actually think he's one of the only managers in the world that we stand no real chance of getting at this moment in time. In the future? Sure, but not right now.

I feel kind of sorry for Moyes, it's not nice to seem someone lose their job. I couldn't imagine how he's feeling right now. Ruined his reputation by taking a job too good to turn down.

But he has to go, clearly hasn't worked out for him. The reports suggest he lost the dressing room very early on, it seemed like he was doomed from then.

“I once dropped my pants in front of the entire squad. Because I wanted to make clear: when I make a substitution, I don’t do so for my own ego, but for the sake of the whole team. .”
Okay? A bit mental that

One of the comments on that van Gaal video says it's a parody to further the caricature of van Gaal. It does seem a bit that way too.

"one-year pay off", is interesting.
It's in at least a couple of the papers too, so clearly briefed by the club on it. Wouldn't have made sense for there not to be such a clause.

That article while interesting doesn't really make sense, it says they decided he was going to be sacked in february but waited until now to allow a clause in his contract to kick in for non CL qualification to avoid a bigger payout. This part makes sense.

But why in between these two events would they turn down his resignation offer and tell him they were willing to ''let him tough things out''. This part makes no sense to me if true.

Of course if they did turn down his resignation in march no wonder hes been rolling about looking unconcerned after defeats he must have thought he was bullet proof.

As someone (I think it was CantonaGiggs1) once mentioned when I posted that video, Mourinho looks like a saint compared to this guy.
Indeed. I wish we cut that "he needs a lot of spending" and "he has a poor character" cr*p and just signed Mourinho last Summer.

? I'm talking about the video of him as a pundit. Seems like an obvious skit to me.
