He may bring Strootman with him (on his right side)

People won't listen, they'll just think we can throw money at him and he'll come. That or if they wish hard enough it will happen.
Lot of posters don t realize that there are people not motivated by money as they are...

A lot of people wished hard for Moyes to be sacked and it looks like our dreams have come true...

Believe... ;)

Who? Moyes?!
Yep. He acted like the poster mentioned. Blaming EPL' computer, our players, injuries, luck, referees, SAF for leaving him a weak squad, player's mentality and belittling Martinez's achievement with Everton and trying to attribute those to himself and the squad he left. Gives the impression of a narcizoid, arrogant, bitter twat. From the scree, on real life, I dunno, he might be a saint who gives all his wages for charity but on those press conferences he was an embarrasment.

Ah nuts. :( #Moyesin

At least you lot cheered me up a little by pressing for David Brent (as you lot all refer to him). Good luck with that by flashing your moolah like an 80s yuppie.

Since when did the Barca job become more attractive than United anyway?

It probably is right now because of the players they've got. I don't think Klopp would turn us down, really don't. We are not one of the sugar daddy clubs like Chelsea or City which he has long spelt out his distain for. If we don't get him, I'd be worried Arsenal might nab him. Let's not make the same mistake 2 summers running by not appointing the clear outstanding candidate.

Feel sad for Moyes. Yes, he has underachieved massively, and in this day an age, you need to get off to a very good start, otherwise it's an uphill task. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be for Moyes, but I honestly hope he goes onto a good team after United.

From BBC live coverage of Monday football...

Neil Custis, football correspondent with The Sun, has been speaking to BBC Radio 5 live about newspaper reports saying that David Moyes is set to be sacked by Manchester United:

"This is nailed down, I would expect it to be announced tomorrow, undoubtedly before Saturday. Yesterday's performance at Everton was the final straw. There has been a lack of faith in his ability since the 2-0 defeat to Olympiakos. They expected a down-turn of sorts no matter who took over from Sir Alex Ferguson, but to second or third, not to seventh."

Hope he goes to Spurs and takes Fellaini with him

This is going to turn out to be bollocks isn't it? Just as I've gotten my hopes up that the club will correct the mistake they made last summer and appoint someone who has won things and has modern ideas on tactics.

He'll still be manager at the start of next season and well 'try' to do a bit better and aim for 6th.

Trying to aspire to City's level... what, win the league cup and nothing else?

I'm hoping Fellaini follows him out of United very soon. He's been a bigger disaster than Moyes.

That is impossible but I have the same hope as you that Fellaini will soon follow Moyes. Him and Young give me headaches when I see them playing for us.

Not for Klopp they aren't. He doesn't want his teams to play like they do and they refuse to play any other way. He wouldn't fit in there.
I watch German football. Klopp honours his contracts. Can we stop arguing about it? It's unlikely as much as you want it to be otherwise.

He did and i believe that takes him to 2018. But i think we should just hire a helicopter and keep tossing wads of cash at his feet until he decides to join

Signed it last October until 2018.
Then why's his name being mentioned? It's not everyone and everything you can just throw money at because you're Man Urd and think they'll come. The guy just signed til 2018, I think it'd be 2015 at the earliest before anyone will make him budge. People should temper their wankfests with realism.

I might just be watching a different sport to the rest of you; but Mourinho: "I am the Special One". Moyes: " We must strive to be like Manchester City".

How does he think hes gods gift to earth?

Please stop...i feel sick when i read that t word.

It probably is right now with us out of the CL next season and Barca finishing emptied handed this one but will be in the CL.

You'll know better than me, but I like Fellaini. He is overpriced but that not his fault. If used correctly, surely he has a place in our squad?

Those were the parts of him being just shit and having low ambition (although probably he was trying to manipulate our fans the same way he did with Everton fans for the last 5 years). But him blaming everything except David Moyes was something I really disliked on him and goes against his reoutation of a nice bloke. He has acted on this year worse than Mourinho in any single year (without the results of course).

I'd think the shit results and shit football had a bigger hand. If not then why aren't you twats throwing up 50 Messi threads to bring him here.
I don't particularly want Messi at United? :smirk:

Ronaldo on the other hand...

So does that mean David Moyes will still be here in 2019?
Is Gareth Bale still under contract at Tottenham and will be until 2017?
Did Cristiano Ronaldo see out his contract at United last summer?

Contracts mean jack in modern football.

That's true. So-called internet "fans" are another breed, especially the once who live on twatter...who will get nervous having no-one to pick on in the immediate future. Maybe they ll console themselves with Fellaini and Cleverley until they target someone else.

I wouldn't divide the fans like that. Many who criticise in private still get behind him and the team in the stadium where it really counts.
