That arsenal fan twitter makes a good poin5. If we are to get rid the sooner the better to get the best replacement in before they go elsewhere. Arse and maybe city will be looking for new manager in the summer. Barca and probably liverpool too

To be fair, many people here shared that opinion.

Was going to say the same thing. I remember saying that we couldn't afford to have someone new to European football in charge of us or something of that ilk.

Thanks for highlighting that thread though; saw this classic:

Moyes. Long term stability rather than short term drama.

Liverpool?

Surely they will be clause in his contract stating that if he fails to make top 4 or something similar then he can sacked without any penalties..

Never even thought of it that way. Maybe we are trying to beat them to it and get the pick of the litter?

I wanted Klopp to succeed Sir Alex. Nothing has changed.
I'd lose it if klopp joined us. The though of that brand of football at United is something else. Granted, it wouldn't be easy to implement straight away, but the joy if watching united would be back and then some.

I predicted on October 8th(newbie section) that the EPL table would look like this at the end of the season. I knew Moyes would be a disaster after a few games.

1. Chelsea
2. City
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool
5. Tottenham
6. Everton

I got the top 6 correct, the order was wrong.

If the "warchest" is as substantial as rumoured and Moyes does indeed go, we'll need a big name manager to attract the right calibre of player in the absence of CL football. Hopefully we'll get Klopp and he'll bring 1 or 2 Dortmund players with him

Good for you.

Never nice to see someone lose their job but he is out of his depth and for his own health and mine I am glad that it looks like he is moving on.
