I still remember when he was appointed it took ages for us to announce it and our Facebook page welcomed him three times and then deleted the message three times.Yeah, but I don't think too much can be read into his stint at Real though. His Portugal spell I don't know too much about but being knocked out 1-0 by Spain in the first knock out round at the 2010 World Cup does not sound too shabby.

Nothing is guaranteed, but like I said last summer, some things make a lot more sense than others. Hiring Mourinho would have made perfect sense last summer, as is sacking Moyes as soon as possible.

He's on relatively low wages though (1.8m per year) so I don't think that the compensation will be that big if he accepts our offer (which IMO has only slim chances to happen). The funny thing is that we can triple Klopp's wages and he will still be on lower wage than Moyes.
