This could end up being a long night on the caf

Who leaked the news, do we reckon? And why?
Giggs's people? If rumours of the strain in their relationship is true and Giggs is indeed going to be the interim manager, I wouldn't blame him for letting it slip somewhere along the line.

I wanted Klopp to succeed Sir Alex. Nothing has changed.

If anyone fits all the values of a United manager, it's that man. He's been loyal to his clubs, staying there a long time, he's won things, he plays great football, he's an outstanding motivator and he's charismatic as hell. He's everything we need and should be the only choice. I don't think he could turn us down if we went for him.

I think the thing is getting its own momentum now. Even if it was kite flying (and seems to be a lot of very big kites flying), the language being used by the reporters has really changed. They're talking about ill-fated reign and so forth. These things can get their own legs and run.

Klopp ticks all the boxes. It's that simple. Doesn't matter what people in Germany say, make the man an offer he can't refuse.

Mate look at what happens at OT re Moyes. While a manager wears the tie it's hard to come out publicly and slate him but since he ditched his EFC tie the reality is being revealed. Plus Martinez has opened many previously closed eyes.
True, Martinez has done a brilliant job. He has a much better view and understanding of the game imo. He fills players with confidence and belief and gets them playing positively and trying things, whereas moyes is more a minimum risk kind of manager. Martinez is much more modern and understands modern day football more than moyes I feel. I would say that it would be a good time to be an everton fan right now. Hopefully ye can keep the loan signings that ye made and make more signings in the summer to improve.

Liverpool supporting mates are texting me, they're seriously worried we'll attain Klopp, massive contrast to the texts I received following Moyes' appointment.

I know a couple of lads who are pretty handy at making offers you can't refuse. Not sure if they'll want to upset the status quo though.

I thought Klopp just signed an extension?

It always depends of the financial compensation (or other) United might give to the Dortmund board. Let's say Woodward comes up with an offer that is just not be refused by any of the parties involved, then we might get Klopp. Still, there is work to do to get there.

The likely reason for the delay is severance negotiations with lawyers/agents for Moyes and his backroom staff.

Amazing how quickly rumour can be reported as fact...

Imagine how dissapointed some fans will be if it's a hoax!

Absolutely no chance of getting Simeone or Klopp. Getting Giggs when he's still working towards his UEFA coaching badges is stupid, and Queiroz would be better off as a coach not a manager. Leaves us with Van Gaal

This is kind of my feeling as well. I'm not sold on van Gaal. I'm sure he could turn us into a very good team, but I always feel his teams hit a ceiling when they might have scaled greater heights under a different coach.

Smart money is on Van Gaal.
Wouldn't be the worst manager if we can't get Klopp, he'd repair our dross football if nothing else, and have van persie farting rainbows once more as an added bonus.

Look at it this way. Tim Sherwood has Spurs above us. Anyone would be an improvement.

Whatever contract we would give Ronaldo to re-sign for us offer Klopp the same thing, something insane.
