Christian Pulisic

interesting to see a bit of the anti-american bias. Pulisic has done pretty well with a generally underwhelming american group (thanks to some shitty managers) for his national team. Injuries seem to be his biggest club deterrent. Feel like he would def help with our wide options, especially if ronaldo leaves and players like rashford start going thru the middle more or something (assuming for an inexpensive fee) But lets be honest prob just another shit rumor with United being linked to so many randos right now

- 23 years old
- marketable as hell
- would instantly be one of the 3 best players at United and if Ronaldo leaves then along with Bruno the best player at the club
- still room to develop and grow
- the type of player ETH wants
- Cheap and affordable!
- one of the few players who actually wants to come here

It’s a no brainer. Sign the kid.
Eriksen > Bruno

Great pickup if we can do it:

Per 90 mins, PL and CL (Autumn 2020 to present), compared to Harvertz for reference:
  • Goals and assists - 0.51 v 0.45
  • Shots - 2.17 v 2.44
  • Shot success rate - 15.05% v 11.94%
  • Shot creating actions - 2.99 v 2.76
  • Progressive carries - 7.60 v 5.44
  • Successful def pressures - 5.21 v 4.29
  • Failed touches & balls lost - 5.26 v 5.07
If he can overcome his injuries, his numbers will improve further.

it was Mitten who broke it, definately something in it.

Wow the most shocking thing about this for me is that he's just 23 (24 in September).

He is great when in form. But he got injured a lot, then his form dropped.

I'll take him on loan with option to buy.

Another right footed winger. If we're going to fetch in a winger he needs to be left footed or whats the point?

We could do with a player like Pulisic to add depth to the front line, which to my knowledge has yet force a difficult save — let alone actually score a goal — in our first two matches. My hesitation, however, is that we have a potential beast in Garnacho. I realize we don’t want to throw the young beast into the snake pit of the PL headfirst this season, but on the other hand we may actually want to do just that.
Garnacho would be better served being our 5th choice winger than being depended on to produce when forced into the team if Rashford/Sancho is injured. With Elanga and Pulisic ahead of him he'll still get game time but with less pressure. His situation can be reassessed in January.

that’s the nicest thing anyone has said about us in a while :(

It's the opposite...."traditional rival", not even "rival". It's taking a shot at us .

It'll be all the sweeter when we finish above them though

In 2028

I wanted this guy just before he went to chelsea, but, to put it mildly, he has somewhat underperformed! right now we are being linked with just about anyone who has crossed the ball more than twice a season!

Great points, but I’m 50/50 on it. We’ve only seen flashes of Garnacho over the last 12 months, none of it PL action, but from I’ve seen of him so far he looks a more lethal threat than Pulisic. He’s mentally and physically not ready to start for us but he could be brought in safe situations. If he’s behind Elanga and Pulisic he may not get the match experience he needs to be ready for next season. Or maybe we ease Elanga out, as he seems to have regressed.

I do like Pulisic. But I do have to say, he needs games to improve his form. He is not a impact player off the bench whatsoever. The biggest hinderance is his injuries, every single time he has looked like he is ready to start flying he crashes back down. Can’t continue to hold out for a player who probably has no confidence to take players on because he might get hurt again.

this is a no fuking brainer for United to take him on loan....he's been a united fan since a kid and he's very good on the ball plus we are in desperate need of attacking options and he's proven he can play and score in the premier league

agree with comment though about adding another right footed winger....we still badly need a left footed attacker
