One got sacked while the other looks increasingly out of his depth.
Fact remains that we need someone who can play on the right wing if Antony gets tired or injured. Pulisic is in no position to help us in solving that problem and I totally disregard Elanga as an option.

Fam, Ziyech has spent an even bigger part of his career playing as an AM than Pulisic. For every game he has played as a RW, he played twice more as an AMC. Pulisic’s most played position is RW. You can say you don’t like Pulisic or whatever and you prefer Ziyech, that’s cool. Opinions after all, we can all agree to disagree even if all Chelsea managers that managed both disagree with you... but whatever. However there is no rationale on god’s green earth that says Pulisic can’t help as RW, but Ziyech can.

Ziyech is willing to lower his wage to get picked up by another club. He barely plays, even clean up minutes. I have seen the 34M pounds figure for Pulisic from several media sources. Neither one of them have been productive and neither one of them helps the output of other players. Pulisic is a least a threat to get fouled a lot. Ziyech is incredibly slow. Opposing players would need to wait for him to get downfield to foul him.
He needs a pandemic to play well. Literally his one and only good spell was when the stadiums were closed. Literally got injured and sulked despite being shit every other time he is given a chance.
To go from a player like hazard to these scrubs, must be frustrating for Chelsea fans.

Won't be a popular opinion as a US fan but I'm not a fan of Pulisic. He's not strong enough on the ball and whines too much. So many other players I would prefer to him.
Also if there were a player I'd go after on the US team it would be Adams. Who is fantastic. Or Dest, who is extremely underrated but is too good of quality to sign as depth.

I don't want Pulisic mostly because he comes across as a bit of a twat.
He’s not our most talented player, that’s Reyna. He’s not our best or most important player, that’s Adams.
However, he is still the US teams talisman. He was there in 2018 and cared more, at 19, then any of those old fecks who let us down. He scored the only goal and was the only one worthy of collapsing in despair after the final whistle. I would still take the entire MMA, Reyna, and Weah over him at Utd but Adams is the only other “never drop” guy for the US team

The difference is Dave's whining is exclusively directed at the refs to give his team an edge. Pulisic's is directed at his team/manager/club for the benefit of himself. I always thought Pulisic would end up at United with Woodward in charge and the US connection given the sponsors etc (Chevrolet). The damning aspect about his time at Chelsea is from what I hear their fans seldom critique his actual footballing ability but more his mentality and injury record. Maybe he could have shades of the Mo-Salah / Robben trajectory and shine at another club elsewhere.
Chelsea did a real good job by selling their players with good prices in the space of one week. Its unbelievable job. 25 months ago Chelsea won the UCL. 27 months after that, only 4 players in the 23 man squad that day will even be on the roster (Kepa, Chillwell, James, and Thiago Silva). Crazy how much has changed in such a short period of time.

He’s decently talented. Easily good enough to play at a top club. But yes, he is made of glass. He is totally unreliable. To get £20M after 4 years of injuries and inconsistencies is pretty decent. Good luck to him in Milan.

He has bags of talent but injuries and doesn't influence games enough. One of those players that's great aesthetically with ball at feet but does it truly amount to much?

Pulisic will be 25 in two months though. Not exactly what I'd call 'so young'.
But other than that I agree he's got enough talent to make it in the Serie A if he can just keep himself fit. Would probably need to hit double digits in both goals and assists a couple years in a row for the big PL clubs to come calling back for him and I just don't see that happening. He's got what it takes to be a good player for Milan but I doubt he'll ever be good enough for the PL big boys.
