Chelsea are a dark horse. I can see Mourinho wanting to transition to 4-3-3 and Fabregas will be perfect for him in that set up.
The guys who pull the strings at Barcelona are absolute idiots. That's Thiago and now Fabregas leaving while Xavi remains painfully past his best without a replacement? That and completely ignoring their woeful, embarrassing defence. Whoever makes the decisions needs their balls booted.
Our investment could be about £15m, given they still owe us money for Song.
Essien called. He wants his calculator back. Our investment could be about £15m, given they still owe us money for Song.
Like the time Liverpool earned £15m for buying Carroll? Our investment could be about £15m, given they still owe us money for Song.

Seriously? Like what the feck...
Not a chance they will replace him, not even after The Slip. Why is that such a surprise. They have Champions League football, are a big club, need a CM to replace gerrard, are looking for world class talent and £30 million they can afford. Makes sense that they would be interested in Fabregas.

Louis Van Gaal > Brenton Rodgers. We can also offer more wages than Liverpool. We have Mata and De Gea for company here as well. Pool has a bunch of English players. We have also Van Persie who he is buddy-buddy with. Why is that such a surprise. Agreed, especially considering they've been pretty shit for the past four years and there's no chance they're gonna drop Gerrard, regardless of how far he regresses in the next season. Whilst the rival fans of the top teams in England seem adamant we're awful now and we'll be relegated within the season, other fans and teams across different leagues just think we've had an off season and we'll be back next year.It makes sense yes and yes they are a big club but people seem to throw this "champs league football" tag around to much.. are Liverpool really a much better pull than us just because they have cl football next year when they might not the year after?
Not needed? Ah the cafe never fails to crack me up sometimes. He doesn't want to play for Manchester United, and I do not want him here. He is not needed.
They might as well sniff their own arse, he'll not go to Liverpool.they will be sniffing. Hes better than lucas and gerrard getting old and will probably will need counselling after his feck up.
I don't understand it either.I would have thought top players like Fabregas would value the higher chance of winning the CL over one year of extra participation.I definately think we have a greater chance of winning the CL in the next 5 years than Liverpool or Arsenal. It makes sense yes and yes they are a big club but people seem to throw this "champs league football" tag around to much.. are Liverpool really a much better pull than us just because they have cl football next year when they might not the year after?
They might not but they are more likely than us to do so. The notion that van Gaal is just going to walk in and deliver Champions League football at the expense of Liverpool is bizarre when they finished on 84 points last season and blew teams out of the park with their attacking football. We are currently a bigger question mark than Liverpool in terms of league positions next year.It makes sense yes and yes they are a big club but people seem to throw this "champs league football" tag around to much.. are Liverpool really a much better pull than us just because they have cl football next year when they might not the year after?
And Fergie > Mr Nobody at Chelsea when they signed Hazard. Agreed that we have good players like Mata, De Gea and RvP to persuade him to come here whereas Liverpool don't. Would also like to think we could offer more wages but I think Suarez is on a pretty massive deal at Pool currently.Louis Van Gaal > Brenton Rodgers. We can also offer more wages than Liverpool. We have Mata and De Gea for company here as well. Pool has a bunch of English players. We have also Van Persie who he is buddy-buddy with.
That's a daft way to look at things. At some point they'll have to pay you what they owe, so your investment would still be £30mil.Our investment could be about £15m, given they still owe us money for Song.

He's not a Mourinho type of player and Liverpool have no chance. If he's leaving it's to Arsenal or to us.

I have not said they are more attractive than us, just that they should not be arrogantly dismissed as some club like Everton or Spurs. If Fergie was here it wouldn't even be a debate but we were very badly damaged last year in pretty much every way possible.I by no means think just because we have LVG now we will go on and sweep all before us next season but this notion that suddenly after one good season in what, 4/5 Liverpool are more attractive than us to players just because they can offer CL football when let's be honest, we'll offer them a lot more in everything else.
Liverpool getting Cesc Fabregas would be like giving a homeless guy the keys to a Bentley.
