Jamie Jackson is killing our muppet dreams.

Who the feck is this cnut?
Argh I can feel the anxiety creeping in all ready just like last year. Christ I need to get a grip, fecking muppetSo if that is both Kroos and Fabregas who are not targets... Who the feck are we interested in? We desperately need central midfielders.

Would people here prefer Fabregas over Kroos?
Unless that one is Vidal (ridiculously unlikely) it simply won't be enough.I reckon we'll get one midfielder and save the other spot for Strootman next season or the winter transfer window. Shame really, Kroos and Cesc would be ideal.

But aren't Roma in the CL? If they make it out their group I doubt they'd sell him to us in January.
Maybe he should join City thenYes but there he was competing for trophies. You take a pay cut so you win trophies. Lets face it. Arsenal might not compete for the title or the Champions League next season.
Jamie Jackson upcoming exclusives:
- United turn down Messi.
- Fellaini going nowhere.
- Van Gaal only interested in one or two signings.
- Strootman says 'no' to United.
- Pogba wanted United return, Fergie vetoed it.
- Ed Woodward not a real person.
Nothing Jackson has said today about Kroos, Fab or Muller worries or surprises me. Seems LVG might be interested in targets that are actually attainable.
Kroos has one year left on his contract, Fabregas has been linked with a move away for sometime now. While they're clearly not going to be easy signings I wouldn't consider them impossible signings.
Will they be happy not to be playing Champions League football? That for me is the key factor

Money talks.
Decent but not really WC though tbh, and not from clubs who we're already in the UCL (apart from Robihno who cleary though he was actually signing for United )
I think as we are United we can probably get them in, however I'm not so sure we'll be able to sign players everyone else will be after like Fab or Kroos if they become available, you never know though I guess.
They got Silva when they had no Cl football. They got Yaya as well.
If we were going head to head for a player with Arsenal/Liverpool I'm certain that they would go for us the majority of the time, champions league or not.
Not only are we a bigger club but we can pay better wages than they can as well. Considerably so.
But would you?Not true of us anymore - we could offer Cesc £175k a week quite easily.
Bigger club is great but it is currently not in the CL.
Bizarrely, chance of winning the CL doesn't seem massively relevant to players - just playing in it seems enough.

Is Wenger not really strict with the wage structure or has he changed that?
Big players like tevez, silva and toure joined city before they were in the cl. If a club can offer a player a lot of money as well as convince the player to buy into the clubs projects and goals then they can sign them. Kolo and adebayor left arsenal before too when city weren't in the champions league. If players think that united have more potential in the than long term than arsenal and can reach greater heights they will join united over arsenal. Not true of us anymore - we could offer Cesc £175k a week quite easily.
