Only someone who has never watched the champions league before would think this is a done dealBless your optimism If truly you think Man City aren't going through to the final now.

Like where your head’s at.Next Wednesday - and I think Madrid will find a way to win it.
Think of the greater good & pull for Madrid just one time next week.god no, I just despise Real Madrid. Jammiest cl team ever. Lakers are just as vomit inducing.
As do I see that. City won and scored 4 goals in emptyhad last season and Real Madrid used their home advantage to get them over the line in 2nd leg.I think Madrid will be boosted by the flatness of the emptyhad
Still see city getting through though, unfortunately
I've been watching it long before it was even called the Champions league mate.Only someone who has never watched the champions league before would think this is a done deal

City at home in the CL this season P5 W5 scored 20 and conceded 2.
City are significantly better at home though.

How does Rodri never get booked? He must do at least 12 professional fouls per game. Could still go either way but gotta fancy city now.
Bit of a difference. Liverpool are fighting for 4th place finish and Man City are short odds to win the treble. Man City at home beat Liverpool 4-1 in the following game to their CL exit.Everyone said the same about the scousers at Anfield and look how that turned out.

No chance he can rest all of Dias, KDB, and Haaland imo given Goodison is a tricky ground for them. I think they're going to be a lot more tired than Madrid in the second leg and the fitness levels will show. City, much like United, are playing way too many games even if they have better squad depth.Let's hope Everton can take advantage then. Guardiola would have some massive balls to start the u-15s considering how close the title race still is
Unpopular opinion. But I think while City dominated possession and threatened for the first 20 minutes after that RM started getting more control and looked more likely to score. They weren’t dominating possession but their attacks looked more dangerous.
In the second half I think RM could have had 2 or 3.
Overall I think RM played the better match.
The way City were getting praised I thought I was watching different matchIs that unpopular? I feel like City hardly did anything. Madrid were far more threatening all night.
I hope AC Milan Vs Real. A proper historic final. Also for Milan, a great club ruined by leech owners who have overcome it won the league and then to get to the CL final would be an amazing story.City vs Inter in final is in my opinion the most probable.
Inter will win the final with City shoking.

The work Perez and his team have done behind the scenes since he took over for a second time is really extraordinary. Vini, Rodrygo and Valverde are amazing finds. Rüdiger, Kroos and Alaba came for free and Modric was not that expensive either from what I remember and Carvajal was home grown. I think Courtois is the only "star" ready made player they invested money in and even that was something like 35m. It's a far cry from what he did in his first stint as president. To be fair, though, I think players get even better when they go there. The prestige and sense of being special adds so much mental strength and resilience, not mention freedom to move up a level. The best club for individuals to shine by far.The individual quality of Madrid players is just something else, quite extraordinary how they keep getting away with it, deserved victory in my opinion.
I mean they did sign Ronaldo (ready made), Bale and Hazard. Ronaldo obviously a success. Bale initially a success but then he started and continued disrespecting the club and doing nothing but earning 600 k per week for years. Less said about Hazard the better. The work Perez and his team have done behind the scenes since he took over for a second time is really extraordinary. Vini, Rodrygo and Valverde are amazing finds. 3 marque signings in 14 years doesn’t really define the policy.I mean they did sign Ronaldo (ready made), Bale and Hazard. Ronaldo obviously a success. So they do turn into Woodward from time to time, but their other successful signings have worked very well. And apart from Modric they mostly don’t keep players past their peak.
This made me laugh.
I never said it does. Only that they are not afraid to spend big occasionally.3 marque signings in 14 years doesn’t really define the policy.
It’s clearly advantage City being the home team. They’d take this situation anyday - win a home game against this Madrid to meet one of the Milan teams in the final. Madrid needed a win at home imo. Vinicius is our only hope now. Fantastic player. Both teams will be happy enough with that draw and both teams will be confident they can win next week to progress. It is a coin flip honestly.
Yea I get your point, they're still Real Madrid and see themselves as the place where the very best plays but I think I was referring to today's lineup and how good value it is. The other caveat that I think makes replicating them very difficult if not impossible, is just how they are the most attractive destination for so many top players. These free transfers could happen because they are Real Madrid, it's not like Kroos was gonna leave Bayern for any of the other elite teams. The Brazilian and south American players also see them as the place to be so they sort of have a monopoly on certain types of transfers because what they are culturally compatible with the region of the world that produces arguably the most talented players and because what they offer in the CL is unique.I mean they did sign Ronaldo (ready made), Bale and Hazard. Ronaldo obviously a success. Bale initially a success but then he started and continued disrespecting the club and doing nothing but earning 600 k per week for years. Just shows you what top class midfielders can do. I’d take Kroos still. Camavinga is excellent as well.
If City do the treble it would take MONTHS for my depression to go away
Better than Liverpool's prospect of quadruple last year, though. If City do the treble it would take MONTHS for my depression to go away
At least it's our hands to ensure that doesn't happen. If City do the treble it would take MONTHS for my depression to go away
Wait until Harry Maguire starts against City due to whatever reasonAt least it's our hands to ensure that doesn't happen.
Oh wait, that's not exactly positive, is it
