Champions League Semi Finals (9th - 17th May)

Ah well whatever chance Real Madrid had in this tie they needed to win to tonight. Man City should win the 2nd leg only question looks like the margin of victory I can imagine now.

Man City are going to start their Z team against Everton. Not a single sub.

Better than expected, shame about the goal. Camavinga has some elements to his game that really need improving.

Vini our only chance once again.

Great game. On paper, slight advantage to City, but this Madrid side rise to the occasion.

This is the poorest game I've seen from City in a while.

I think they were this bad also against United in Old Trafford this season.

I take it back, i don't like the ref.

Rodri going without a yellow the whole game is a crime.

Bernardo should have been sent off, two nasty challenges.

I take it you have never watched the champions league before then

Advantage city but Madrid can surely rest players with them effectively out the title race. City need to win even if Arse have bottled it

Very entertaining - we (United) have a long, long way to go.

As for the second leg, with no away goal rule and the Etihad being fairly tame as away grounds go, it’s all to play for.

Madrid players will have a week off
City should see of Everton but not ideal, they probably wished they had Fulham or something at home

Looked to me like City were pretty much happy just getting a result tonight. They'd didn't look particularly intense or at it. Probaby wary of Real Madrid's threat, which was maybe a smart thing. It's a good result for them unfortunately, they will be favourites to take this at home.

I thought it was pretty meh game, from the main players only Vinicus turned up. And god goal from De Bruyne too. Haaland, Benzema really quiet.

Rudiger and Alaba showed how to handle Haaland tonight. Kept him out of the game, marked him tight and aggressive, was lovely seeing that cnut looking so annoyed and lost.

Rodri not getting booked was a joke.

KDB's goal was such a lovely strike, clean as you like. Pr*ck.

Why didnt Pep sub anyone. He always seems to feel the need to be special in these stages of the competition.

Having said that, I hope City smash Real at home.

City are significantly better at home though.
