I was sure this thread was bumped to comment on Michael Owen getting confused over the fact Bentaleb isn't English.

Does anyone else have an issue streaming their site on a mac? I've tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox but it never works. Also tried reinstalling everything including Silverlight.

Best thing I've heard today.

That's good, as long as they have actual european football experts on like they do on the European Football Show, not ex footballers who struggle to string a sentence together. If Own Hargreaves and his anti-United vitriol is on there I will scream.

It was very noticeable in this year's FA Cup games how chummy BT Sport and BBC were getting. The foundations were in place for cross network jobs.

No real change for Lineker because he already does CL coverage midweek as it is.

They all have similar pundits even ITV.

Robbie Savage and Darren Fletcher have had a show on both BBC and BT for a while now, haven't they?

There's bad news as well as it's confirmed Jake Humphrey extends his contract by a further four years.

What I'm more interested about is who will provide the main commentary for Champions League matches. BT Sport can't carry on with the current guys doing the commentary.

I hope they will find a way to lure Clive Tyldesley and Peter Drury in at the very least. Just them and no Andy Townsend, that would be fine by me.

BT have far too many pundits all doing the same game. They should follow the model for the European Football Show. It's the only BT program worth watching the whole way through.

James Richardson is a good anchor too. I'd love to see him host Champions League. Knows his stuff, in particular the European game.

BT are set to charge viewers £5 extra per month to have full access to their European football, plus Premier League and rugby coverage

The inevitable price rise after getting the CL.
I thought it would be more to be honest! BT gambling on lower prices to get people on board - inevitably this will eventually increase further but it's nice to see them tapering it rather than gouging from the outset

Yeah, but if you switch over to getting your broadband access from BT, it will only cost you £5 a month on top of the BT broadband payments to watch football on BT Sport (currently it's free if you have BT broadband).

It's shit that it's no longer going to be free with the broadband , but had to be expected I guess.

Rio Ferdinand announces that Steven Gerrard will be joining the BT Sport team next season.

Steven Gerrard, up on stage, says the Champions League is 'the ultimate and most prestigious competition.'

ah, the old rule that your TV pundits need to be ex-Liverpool players is getting back in force.

Free-to-air matches
BT will make some matches available for everyone to watch, whether a subscriber or not, via a new, free-to-air channel on digital TV.

Called BT Sport Showcase, this channel will show a minimum of 12 UEFA Champions League matches and 14 UEFA Europa League matches and these will be available to anyone to watch for free. Each participating British team will be shown at least once.
