I was watching the Budesliga Review, and they have some bloke there, who is reviewing the games, telling us how the teams did, etc, but he then commentates on the goals as if he's commentating live, even though he's not, and that really fecks me off...

Do you guy's really "mute the telly" when awful commentators are in action? I always see comments like this, but surely you actually don't sit in silence and watch the game? that is bizarre to me.

I switch to watching on foreign channels or just change the sound to background noise, ie ground noise.

I've done it loads of time.

Hell even watching a Russian stream is quite nice sometimes.

I muted for ten minutes yesterday (35mins in to half time) as Owen was giving me a headache. First time I ever did that

I need to hear what's going on in a match, even if the commentator is shite. I just can't enjoy it the same without listening to the crowd, punts and all that jazz

I've been really tempted to get BT Sport this year because of the Champions League games and some Premier League games but the £20 monthly cost is putting me off. Can't imagine it is worth it.

Owen rambles too much and his voice just isn't suited for commentary. Something very annoying about it

If Michael Owen tells me one more time that he hated training against Smalling I'm going to punch the TV.

Depends on how much football you watch.

Depends on how much football you watch.

I will probably be only watching those two things 90% of the time and only watch the other stuff on the rare occasion if there is nothing else on.

As I have BT internet I get it for free, I wouldn't pay for it.

Then I'd say its worth it. Depends how much you value watching football too I guess!

I would probably pay if they sack McManaman in a hugely public and humiliating fashion. I detested him on Setanta and loathe the thought of him spouting his mouth off when United get a dubious call while turning a blind eye whenever it's another clubs turn.

Always hurt you in training, Smalling. Tough to play against in training, Smalling. Smalling isn't afraid to get stuck in in training. Never nice going up against Smalling in training.

I'm not a Sky customer so I hated it when you could only see the ITV leg of a tie in the CL. Now I get to see both legs. It's amazing and I love Michael Owen's insights. Thanks BT!
As I don't have Sky Sports that is actually a very good point. Thank BT from me as well.
