United should start looking for potential replacements now for when the time comes they want to sell or he leaves.
Wait, so he gets the blame for the entire team being crap? And Maguire gets the plaudits for when Bruno and a few others elevated us to 2nd?We've never been this bad, not even with Maguire as captain. I'd love to see our results compared just to show this really
Weird how that works, isn't it? When Bruno plays well his detractors broadly disappear. On the other hand, I think you'll find that most of his supporters stick around to continue to challenge those others. The video is very clear, would have been harder to ignore without the insults but the analysis is solid. I note there is no real dispute of the actual content from those arguing in favour of Bruno, it’s just wait until he plays well again….
I’m a United fan I want the team and all its players to do well. But I do feel some of the chaotic things highlighted in the video are a significant problem for the team. Bruno can be very good at creating chances but his overall contribution is an issue for me.Weird how that works, isn't it? When Bruno plays well his detractors broadly disappear. The reason the video is very clear is because it's made by somebody with an admitted agenda.
When has Bruno played well in the last 2 yrs? The video is exactly what I and multiple others see on a weekly basis. The fact is, sure the team isn't that great, but then again, neither is Bruno. The video gives validation to that. The agenda is showing people exactly what he is.Weird how that works, isn't it? When Bruno plays well his detractors broadly disappear. On the other hand, I think you'll find that most of his supporters stick around to continue to challenge those others.

What is it with this guy?, as soon as the camera had him on screen I was thinking we're losing this.
Funny enough I was in a YT rabbit hole at 2am far from sober and I found this.
This is what I've been posting about, i seen him do this vs Crystal Palace today.
I watched this until 8 mins because this videos is nitpicking. Without considering other factors, you can nitpick every mistake on any players. Some clips have fair points but majority of the clips was just forcing it to be his fault.
In the first 8 mins clips, majority is about last season. But last season, Bruno played as attacking midfielder, his position would be in advanced role. If the manager set a zonal marking/defending when off the ball rather than man to man (one of the factor we need to consider), Bruno has no reason to leave his position just to keep chasing player to the zone where defenders or the deep midfielders should be able to cover. Hence why he made the gesture hand to communicate with his team mate that is your man now.
His distance covered actually contribute to high numbers of defensive contributions as attacking midfielder to the team because Bruno has high percentiles tackles, blocks, clearances and interceptions for attacking midfielders. So the distance he covered wasn’t just contributing to nothing like how the video interpreted it.
I could also say the same to your view and the video on Bruno that it’s glaring bias unable to accept reality. What I watched games in and games out is that he contributed more than any of our attackers in the team apart from Amad, which is the reality. Therefore, he’s the least of our worried at the moment. This is a typical glaring bias unable to accept reality. The reality being watching what he does game in and game out. As the video showed his supposed chances vs competition flat out dispels and gives to inflated stats that mean nothing. The most glaring is Aerials won, not sure he has won any and passing, 75% is sub par. Accept sub par all you want. The video shows the real Bruno Fernandes which for the likes of a storied franchise is completely unacceptable. These type of inflated stats are probably what the MU scouts saw when they signed him. Gives to incompetence that we see on the field today and in the standings. It is just sad. Of course you only watched 8 min, cause sometimes people cannot handle the reality of the situation.
Course they should. Don't think Mainoo or anyone else can replace him.United should start looking for potential replacements now for when the time comes they want to sell or he leaves.

I know exactly what will happen, Bruno will score in the next game and posters will be in this thread say how he's the bees nees.I watched this until 8 mins because this videos is nitpicking. You realise you're not the only person to watch football, right? You're massively oversimplifying why many (me included) think Bruno is an integral part of the team, and it ain't just down to stats. It's funny, because posters like you and @Musclehead scream 'confirmation bias' at pro-bruno posters without seeing that you're just as guilty of that, if not moreso.I know exactly what will happen, Bruno will score in the next game and posters will be in this thread say how he's the bees nees.
But as long as you've seen it. It'll start becoming more viable. Maybe not with @Scandi Red who is a huge fan of Bruno and stats, nothing wrong with that - i just don't watch football in the same way, maybe because I'm an old git that uses his old eyes over stats.
I don't hate Bruno by the way, i don't hate any of our players. I just want us to play good football.
You know nothing about me, first off.You realise you're not the only person to watch football, right? I feel I've made my point and that is all it is, I didn't even know what confirmation bias was... too tell you the truth I actually don't care if it is or isn't.
Finally fbref added the ability to compare his numbers to midfielders. Because that is key, we can't just look at Bruno the AM playing in CM showing his contribution numbers and be happy with his defensive stats COMPARED TO ATTACKING midfielders. If he plays in midfield, as he does for quite some time, even under ETH he was mostly a part of that midfield unit, he has to be compared to midfielder and suprise suprise, his defensive numbers wane and make him look what he is - a light weight AM playing as a CM. Same as Eriksen. With all the consequences that brings, good and bad.I watched this until 8 mins because this videos is nitpicking. Your posts come across as really weird, mate. Telling others about their biases while your own ones get the "reality" label and therefor are out of question. I watched the video and I think, it does a good job in showing a(!!!) side of the player that rarely gets looked at because he has so many fans for his contributions in other areas. But lets not act as if it is either one or the other - both sides belong to the player. And there are enough reports from team mates showing that he seems to be a good guy and good character off the pitch so the whole point of the video, highlighting how detrimental his behaviour is, has to be taken with a pinch of salt simply because of its generalized nature. This is a typical glaring bias unable to accept reality. Eh? where did I say I did? You're entitled to your own point of view, just as I'm entitled to disagree. No need to get defensive about it.You know nothing about me, first off.
I only posted that vid because I couldn't explain my point of view and that is all it is. I'm Just some random on a forum with a point of view different to yours.

Don't over rate your importance on this earth mate. As for weird, perhaps in a simplistic way of thinking, however, he is not the player some think he is.Finally fbref added the ability to compare his numbers to midfielders. The video was about last season, Bruno definitely played as attacking mid last season. So I used the fbref of his AM to counter the video. Finally fbref added the ability to compare his numbers to midfielders. I'm overrating anything. I explained why it is weird - you accuse others of a biased views while your own is just as biased as well. I am not a Bruno fan, I know that this video describes just as much as the stupid stats tweets. But it is both at the end of the day.Don't over rate your importance on this earth mate. But fbref shows his last 365 days, so includes more of this season than last ones. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter, he is contributing as an AM, nobody questioned that. Was he breaking defensive structures with his habit of jumping towards the ball? Probably, but to know that for sure, we'd need to know ETHs instructions. At the end of the day, he does a good job defensively as an attacking midfielder. But as a CM he isn't up to standards when we talk about off the ball work. Thats why so many of his critics don't want to seem him used as CM but in his strongest position. The video was about last season, Bruno definitely played as attacking mid last season. Strange that people thought he was quiet, thought he was very good in the second half.
But this season he also played as no 10. Only just recently he played deeper. But fbref shows his last 365 days, so includes more of this season than last ones. He played a more reserved role most of this season, I was wondering since a few months that Fbref didn't offer the feature to compare him to midfielders while they did for De Bruyne for ages. Still doesn't change what I said - he contributes as an AM. He clearly lacks ability against the ball as a CM. And given that this is seems to be the current consensus here, it is a problem, because he still has the same tendencies as shown in the video. On display just a couple minutes ago.But this season he also played as no 10. Only just recently he played deeper.
I think we totally lose his creativity when playing him so deep. Seems quite counterproductive to have him in midfield and Mainoo at 10.
Here is the thing, if he was good and high quality ala Scholes, Rooney heck even Carrick who I wasn't sold on, but he was decent, I would be praising him. But he isn't, he really isn't that good, at least not at this point. He should be no where near wearing the armband. However, this is not a championship team, so a slightly above avg player gets unlimited praise. Wrong approach. I will always be the voice of reason, you hit the game bud, he was invisible, again. 2-1 against Leicester, embarrassing. Where was the Captain to pull this one out, instead it was Maguire? Maybe not so bad when he wore the armband? It drives me nuts when people misalign things. The fact is a good player on an horrible team is an avg player on a good team. Right now, as much as it hurts, we are a horrible team, bottom half, which makes Bruno an avg player in the grand scheme.I'm overrating anything. Todays game - I think he wasn't good. Rushed play in 2nd half, lazy passing. 1st half Leicester took him out of the game. Not a good game.
This game sums his career here for us up for me. In a months time most fans will have forgotten this game but they'll look at his stats on paper come the end of the season and he'll be our most productive player. The problem is he is 100% capable of multiple assists per game, but being equally dogshit for 80% of the other times he has the ball. Our whole midfield got overran and he's the most experienced player out there and he was nowhere, yes he runs about like a madman but have you ever seen him win a press like say Amad does almost every game? (which often lead directly to goals). He is one of the main reasons, given he's played all but a few games for us since he signed, we cannot control a midfield. Sure he'll do it a few times a game where he might slow the game down and regroup the team etc, but he constantly has the Hollywood ball in his game which two managers cannot and will not coach out of him if they tried. He's not doing these things in the final third either where the team has time to reset, he'll often be doing in our half leading to direct counters. He's a stats man yeah, but he's not the guy who's ever going to give your defence a comfortable game. He hasn't got the positional discipline or the brain for his role, certainly not to win you big titles. He's the next weakest link (in the bigger picture) now Marcus has gone.Last minute assist covering for another poor game from him today.
