Can anybody explain:
how Jesse it together so quickly? I feel like I missed something.

THE feckING CONFESSION TAPE

ffs this one was one the best episodes of the entire show
The 4 of them at the restaurant, the tape, Hank's reaction while watching it, Huell's "excuse me" (), his pickpocketing skills, Jesse figuring things out and him going nuts. I thought Saul was particularly great in this episode, the line "some people are immune to good advice " cracked me up for some reason.

They're fecking great aren't they ? The actors are given some incredible material to work on. Even loved the scene with Todd and his uncles in that diner.

Yeah, that was a bit of a stretch. He put it together because he realised Huell had lifted his dope and must have done the same with the ricin cigarette as he originally suspected.

Fantastic episode though. That confession tape was great.

But won't Walt be able to argue that Brock wasn't actually poisoned with ricin? If he can get Jesse to not kill him the minute he sees him that is.

Absolutely brilliant episode. The confession tape was amazing. It works so well too, as in, if that was shown to Steve Gomez or anyone at the DEA it would be hard for them not to believe it. Pointing the finger at Fring before anyone else suspected him, the assassination attempt by the cartel, the fact that he was so hell bent on catching Heisenberg could be seen as trying to divert attention from himself. Then the fact that Walt can say almost to the last cent how much his medical bills came to. It could all make sense and would be very hard for the DEA to ignore.

Jesse still thinks Walt poisoned Brock with ricin though which doesn't make sense because in the hospital at the time he is told that it was the plant.

This episode just told us for sure that the end of the show will not be about Walt being arrested for drug trafficking. That would be the most conventional and weakest way of ending things.

I think it's more to do with the story Walt told Jesse to stop him from killing him. He said that Gus stole it to make Jesse think Walt stole it to poison Brock. Jesse always suspected that Huell took it, but Walt said it was Gus who found out about it through monitoring them and did it to get Jesse to turn on him.

Now Jesse realises it was Walt who made the play to get Jesse to help him kill Gus, and he DID poison Brock- but with that Lily of the Valley, so it wasn't as serious a poisoning/ could be considered an accident by the police, since children eat them.

I know what you're saying but I think the important thing is that Jessie has realised (and had it confirmed by Saul) that Walt was behind the ricin cigarette going missing as he suspected in the first place. The only reason for Walt to do this would be to manipulate Jessie into helping him kill Gus and as the scene in the desert illustrated, Jessie now knows that Walt has been working him all along.

Anyone think that Walt will kill Jessie next week?

The details won't surely matter for Jesse, for him it's simple, Walt poisoned Brock. Let's see if Walt can own him psychologically once more but I really doubt that.

In the preview Skyler is suggesting that Walt needs to "deal with this". There's nothing Walt won't do so I wouldn't rule it out.

Oh Walt you clever devious bastard, I think I love you!

Jesse IMO is a dead man walking.

Did the scene with tod in the diner remind anyone else of reservoir dogs?

feck me what a confession tape and entirely believable:lol:

Couple of things don't figure out though. Didn't Jessie already suspect the ricin had been flicked from his pocket at Saul's office the first time round? And the fact that Brock wasn't poisoned with ricin.

The latter could be put on Jessie going fecking mental and not registering it

Maybe for Jesse poisoning = ricin . I mean he isn't the sharpest tool around, does Jess know exactly (as in the name of the flower) what caused Brock to be sick ?

Think I remember him saying Lily of the Valley, not sure though?

That was fantastic. The confession was brilliant and then Jesse (using all his brain cells that have been dormant for a year in one go) figuring the ricin out then going mental. Also Marie needs to just feck off
