Body Found in Tia Sharp's Grandmother's house

I'm talking about Hectics avatar, which I thought you were talking about. I guess you were just using Guevara as another example.

Edit: Nope, I'm wrong.. hmm, I'm sure I checked that a while back when wondering about the same thing. Oh well! I guess this makes me correct the first time around, just wrong now.

Spoony's is Castro though

My apologies. My expertise lies mostly with the simultaneously most and least bolshevik of them all.

'Shopped.
...a bit.

As far as I know it is pretty commonly accepted that social mobility has been decreasing for decades.

Social economic mobility is decreasing because western economies have evolved. In decades post WW2 it was easy to get a well paid job without qualifications. In was no so easy to jump into the professional ranks though. These days its hard to get a well paid job but its far easier to get an education and hopefully a profession.

That isn't what you posted though. You said its worse than 50 years ago.

Measuring social mobility is a bit of a skewed science. Sure kids from lower income families don't generally do as well statistically BUT it not just the money that makes a different its parental influence and attitude. IF a poor kid has the right guidance and works hard they have every opportunity to succeed.
It is - that graphic just points up extent of the decay of opportunity and the ludicrousness of the American dream and Cameron's 'we're all in it together'. The relatively few kids that jump the gap by exceptional efforts emphasizes the massive class barrier.

In more prosperous times, Alastair would be able to afford Beyonce as a girlfriend instead of settling for Kimbra.

Occasionally, he would 'correct' the work of esteemed poets, authors etc. Gawd 'elp us...

He left me a crap review on Amazon too.

I loved Montefiore's Stalin: Court of the Red Tsar, Pete. *sobs*

Fair play, Young Stalin was a bit rubbish, I thought.

Apparently Saddam's study was filled with Stalin books

Obsessed with Stalin, convinced he was right about everything, massive tache, liked swimming in rivers... the similarities between Saddam and niMic are quite striking.

Well, the photos were nice.

And just like Saddam, I got an infraction recently by someone named rimaldo for posting a picture of a naked monkey.

It fits perfectly!

Surprised he didn't give you a reward, knowing Rim.

Did you ever have a summer fling with ol' Stalin, pennared?

Just how old do you think I am, young man??

I don't like men with those thick moustaches, anyway. He'd have had to have had a shave before I'd have even gone out for a drink with him. And done something about that hair. :)

I've been looking at this from the perspective of a low IQ spazmo and a philistine... but still can't quite work out what a cultureless person is. Is it a person from West Yorkshire? Or a bloke who doesn't like chillis in his lamb karahi? Or perhaps a person who enjoys watching fit African American Carribean female athletes in skimpy lycra clothing?

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was...erm...looking like some poncey poet bloke.

 I can't imagine living a life so sanctimonious where I literally looked down on any view that wasn't staunch socialist.

Saddam was pretty damn good-looking, let's be honest. It's the one area where he diverges from niMic.

There's an argument that this thread is a bit fecked up...

Che was a sexy beast despite not actually being a dictator. Kim Jong on the hand was probably an acquired taste.
