I wouldn't have thought many massive, foreign transfers like this go to the last day or two because of the logistics of doing the deal. The idea of us pissing around on deadline day trying in vain to get Juve to substantially drop their price doesn't really appeal.
Vidal has yet to tell Juve he wants to leave. And yet people are concerned about a lack of bids from us.

He has yet to make a statement declaring his desire to stay at Juve either. Nothing from Arturo and nothing from United. Until then it will carry on like this.
A pretty substantial one if you consider most reports are saying he's happy to stay if that's what happens.
