I've given up on this one...
But is this a new pic?

Vidal is a worse wum than Twitter ITK's

Silvestre has commented on the transfer saga but looks like he doesn't know much as well.

“Of course those two players are great," the Frenchman told Goal. "They are top players and will lift United.

"United are a famous club and everybody wants to go there, including the top players like Angel Di Maria. I think they will be a good addition to the current squad."

He added: “They [Vidal and Di Maria] had a very good World Cup and we know that both of them are quite capable so, they will do well at United.

"However, it’s not just a two-man team but the entire unit has to make that work. But yes, they need good signings. I don’t know if those two will join United but in case they do, they would be good."

Does he have any links to United still (ambassador etc) or is he just an ex-player? I just don't recall ex-players directly commenting on our transfer targets in recent history.

HE works in as ambassadorial role.

He was on the tour with us and he has played in the All-Stars match in Munich on the weekend

Yes, and he played Kuyt at WB in the World Cup

Very true. I think the problem is most of us can't help but consider a WB as a more defensively oriented winger, whereas Van Gaal obviously sees it as a full back with more license to attack, more likely because of his Dutch Total Football roots.

A winger with a decent engine can shine in that WB position as they have even more space to run into as a result of the back 3, and a lack of wingers ahead of them.

Wow, lol you need to work on judging the tone of peoples posts where have you gotten that from my posts? I am not at all bothered by twitter bullshitters. In your last post you said i was taking things too seriously also when i clearly do not.

Originally i simply pointed out to someone else that the twitter blacklist only applies to the twitter thread, you then started this conversation which you seem to be misreading completely.
What so me simply stating he's blacklisted for being unreliable warrants accusations of bossing people about and saying they can't post what they want on this forum? Hardly.
Post what you bloody like. I don't care. I wasn't even the guy who pointed out he was banned, I just stated he's probably banned for being a bullshitter. That's all.

Huh? No wonder you are misinterpreting my posts, where did i accuse you of anything of the sort? Up until your last two posts i thought we were having a fairly amicable conversation. The only thing i posted i can think of is this:

Hence why i don't run around telling people twitter numpties are banned.

This wasn't about you specifically, just people in general.

And all i was saying was he is not banned from this thread, the conversation since then it seems grew from a misunderstanding of my posts on your part.

Lets leave it there shall we as we are off topic and this conversation is largely pointless, agree?

Is it real?

It is, and probably the same as referred to by this poster earlier:
I'm not on a wind up or anything but at Juventus training session in Sydney Vidal signed around 5 United Jerseys near where my mate was sitting and when he asked if his coming to United Vidal laughed. Doesn't mean his coming but thought i would give you muppets a glimmer of hope.

The same guy that posted the photo said he had met Evra out on tour too and asked him about Vidal and he said hes coming United, probably a load of bull though.

I think more than 2 people have been involved in this conversation at once point but we haven't realised
Agreed.

We always seem to be preparing or ready to bid. How hard can it be to prepare a bid anyway?

With that particular bid we have to convince ourselves he's worth that much. Then we convince Hernandez it's a good move. Then we look at payment terms to reduce some of the risk over his age, his injury, his ability to settle in England. Then we check with the agent that Vidal isn't going to cross us if we bid. Then we bid.

Or we don't if the reporter is wrong.

Good point, surprising nobody else has wondered this.

Actually though, surely "ready" is a big step forwards from "preparing"? It implies the preparing is finally done!

I was thinking about that. Surely if it's ready, it would be just made? I would presume, after these months of preparation, that the very second the bid was ready that it would be automatically made by whatever manner the club makes bids these days.

From Chile - The United offers 40 million, plus Hernandez Vidal

The Manchester United decided to speed up the process to bring home Arturo Vidal, and proposed an offer to Juve really interesting. According to a report in the Chilean La Tercera, the Red Devils are ready to offer £ 40m plus Javier Hernandez for the midfielder of Juventus. An offer really high, with Chicharito - leaving the United - that would complement the offensive department Juventus.

I would be very interested to see an actual walk through guide on the process. From an ex vice-chairman/executive's point of view of how it all actually works from the inside.

This saga peaked when we waited up 'til stupid o'clock in the morning to stream a Chilevision report on Vidal that none of us understood. Even Vidal signing Manchester United tops has failed to reignite the saga.

Ready to go to Juve...

His knee injury is the only thing that I can think of that has delayed the bid.

Unless there isn't going to be a bid, which is my own personal belief. I'd love to be wrong, obviously.

In relation to the knee, nothing that I am aware of anyway has changed since last week. He's still injured, he's not back playing yet. They'd still only be guessing about the knee recovery at this stage. I don't understand how a bid could be made today and not before he went away if it was the case that they were waiting on his knee.

Remind me, are 'Chilean La Tercera' any good? I've been introduced to so many new Chilean news outlets over the past month or 2, I can't keep up.

Two things you don't ever want to see get made; transfer deals and sausages.

Both contain a**holes.

Le Tercera are not known to dabble in stories relating to sport, more of a political Newspaper is what i've heard.
