Thiago won't be sold as long as Pep is there, and Lahm won't be ever sold. So, I guess it will be one of the other three. Would prefer Martinez but would be very happy with Schwein too.
We can mull all we want, we're not the decision makersStill mulling over whether or not to approach van Gaal for his opinion on whether or not to possibly mull over preparing a bid.
Currently in Vietnam and I noticed earlier one of the main headlines on the sports channel mentioned Utd and Vidal. I asked my Girlfriend to translate and she said it was along the lines of 'Utd to bid £36mil for Vidal' - usually would just dismiss it but channel looked fairly legit and other main headlines were factual (about WC and Wimbledon and something about Higuain and Barcelona).
Rushed to a Internet cafe as subtly as I could without looking a dick and was disappointed not to find anything a little more concrete on the Vidal story.
Reminds me of a time I was in the Far East and it was all over the news we had signed Kerlon... Should have learn't my lesson...
Hopefully this time might prove to be successful.
Thanks for clearing that one up.He's on £300k per week. But a huge chunk of that is from a special image rights deal which gives him a much bigger percentage of the sponsorship money he brings in than your average player, because he brings in so much more than any other player on our books. So it is part of his United deal, but the money isn't coming from the United coffers. Ronaldo has a similar deal at Real.
Are you on holiday? Don't go to an Internet cafe looking for transfer rumours on holiday!
He could play in any midfield in the world. His skillset pretty much covers everything. I can't think of a midfielder who'd improve us more than him. Him alone offers more movement and attacking threat than all of our other midfielders put together, not counting Herrera.
If Juve are even considering selling we need to go at him all guns a-blazing.
If Chelsea try and get Pogba .... It will make the Vidal purchase very hard.
Or alternatively, if we try and get Vidal, it will make Pogba's purchase very hard for Chelsea.
I like!
I hope you're right. Can't see that happening though, the Vidal and Sanchez transfers will be drawn out and made huge.I'd imagine if anything were to happen we'll hear about it this week.

Word on twitter seems to be 40m+Nani and he's ours or a straight up 50m bid. People expect it to start racing in pace by Tuesday

That's not an optimistic way of saying 'Indykaila says...' is it?Word on twitter seems to be 40m+Nani and he's ours or a straight up 50m bid. People expect it to start racing in pace by Tuesday
Aha no no, just the usual accounts, people that know people and so forth. Nothing we could really lay our hopes on but none the less there's smoke here. That's not an optimistic way of saying 'Indykaila says...' is it?

The wing lovers would be so Disappointed.
This. We need some pace.Or just push for Rooney to be benched and one of Januzaj, Nani or a new signing to play instead and offer width.
Is this on? I always thought he was unobtainable but there's been a lot of speculation in the past 4 days.
Clubs don't submit a bid without first ascertaining if the player is interested in a move. The bid is usually the last thing that gets done in a transfer. Personal terms and such are usually agreed beforehand. Otherwise the club would look stupid submitting a bid only for the player to reject the move.I think this speculation is gathering pace just because Chile was knock out from World Cup. However, it will not be as quick as Shaw transfer as we already submit a bid for Shaw before the World Cup. If we are really submitting a bid for Vidal, we would have to wait for Juventus's reply and also if Vidal is interested in coming. This could take up a few weeks.
Yeah. Ask Fabregas.Clubs don't submit a bid without first ascertaining if the player is interested in a move. The bid is usually the last thing that gets done in a transfer. His camp led United to believe that he was open to coming. The fanzines and some of the journalists have reported this. Plus, United's bid was so low that Barca were never going to accept it. Nothing to do with whether Fabregas would have agreed to move if the bid had been accepted.Yeah. Ask Fabregas.
