Yeah, he is definitely not 100%. No way he would have come off early against Brazil otherwise, he is their heartbeat and their first choice penalty taker as well!Played the WC injured
Quite possibly, you have now ruined my Sunday. ThanksMaybe it's just you that were a bit shit?
Just overpay to get a deal done before Chelsea get Pogba. No way they sell Vidal if Pogba goes, and whichever club gets a midfielder off Juve are going to be far stronger.
I would much rather see us use Nani as leverage than Evra like Gazzetta deli Sport are indicating.

They don't, but Conte wants to change the system reportedly.Do Juve even play with wingers?
I would too - slightly begrudgingly - purely because we would be acquiring the best midfielder available. I would like Blind regardless or whether Evra stays or goes, though if we sign a second midfielder his versatility wouldn't come as too much use.So would I, but if that is the only way to get the deal done, then I would rather we did it. We can buy a cheap back up if needed, like Blind.
From what I've seen of Juventus selling Vidal to strengthen other areas will weaken them rather than help. As for the bolded part United have no chance of signing him this summer or next if that is the reason he is willing leave Juventus.
How reliable are they?
Bit of a contradiction. Not at all. GDS is the ITalian equivalent of the Sun, but they usually get their Juventus stories right.
The age issue is also why I could see Vidal pushing for a sale. He has already won everything he's going to win at Juve. They aren't going to win the CL in his career realistically and I'm sure he, like every other professional footballer, will want to win it in their career. With Marchisio, Pogba, Vidal and Pirlo, plus a couple of yet unproven but young talented playes, I can easily see them selling either Vidal or Pogba. Vidal more likely, cause they can make Pogba a star player and main midfielder and cash in on him in a year or two, maybe get Verratti - Pogba swap with PSG or sell him to Real, Chelsea... I think it's more likely they will sell Vidal, cause he is 26 or 27 (not sure when is his birthday) and once he get to 28-29 his value will drop down, plus he will be near the end of his contract... and in Italy nowdays, with €40-45m you can get a fair amount of reinforcements, that Juventus really needs.
And by now everybody on the internet are talking about this, so it seems that it's a possibility we will build a statue to Woodward and LvG before the end of this summer...
Just a few days ago I was told in this very thread that I must be bonkers to think Vidal is a possibility. I stuck to my muppet guns. And look now you're all camped out here because you have that ArturON feeling
It would be more reliable if ut was tutto sport. But gds are based in italy and may know something. I think if we offer enough money, he is ours. 50 million euros(40 million pounds) would be enough.
I think it's fair to say United are interested, and Juve are one of those sides that'll do a deal if the cash is right; United have a big budget. LvG has also spoken well of him while at the World Cup. Question is, will he come without Champions League football? A shit tonne of money may do it.
yes but selling on of the main reasons the club is great at the moment is a terrible strategy, as no matter who they bring in the chance of the been as good a team with out pogba or vidal is highly unlikely, and juventus are going to no this, thier not that daft. That was never your original question, you asked if we were interested, it silly to think we would not be in for him if he's willing to leave.
I can see Vidal leaving, it's either him or Pogba. The media in Italy have been linking Vidal with a move for a few months now, it just depends if the teams interested are willing to pay what Juve want and how keen he is on leaving. Juve want money to buy players, so selling one of their players seems to be part of their plan.

think fans are just desprate for us to sign vidal and are clutcing at straws to convince themselves that it might happen
im not claiming juventus are in great shape, but thier not quite at the fire sale yet, and i personally think they will move heaven and earth to keep their best player while they have a chance. That's not entirely accurate mate, they have a number of reasons to offload some of their most valuable players including Vidal. Despite Juventus' recent success, they've suffered a lot of financial problems and debt of €160.3m. Just last season they recorded a loss of €15.9m on the back of increasing operational costs despite recordbreaking revenue (which is unlikely to grow by much commercially given Serie A's fall from grace and the relatively saturated Italian broadcasting market). Juventus have been trying to manage their rising wage bills for quite some time now, evinced by the release of Lucio in 2012. If they intend to keep their younger core intact (especially Pogba who's in a contract negotiation year), they will have to sell Vidal who's their most valuable playing asset and can induce a bidding war from other teams.

Tuttosport are saying that Bayern is entering the negotiations for him with a 40m euro offer and they are also open to putting Shaqiri as part of the deal.

I think that we can overspend Bayern if we want.
If Vidal ends up at Bayern, you can see Schweinsteiger being surplus to requirements, and cue more rumours of him ending up at Old Trafford.
All speculation at the moment. It does look like clubs are certainly lining up bids.
Thiago won't be sold as long as Pep is there, and Lahm won't be ever sold. So, I guess it will be one of the other three. Would prefer Martinez but would be very happy with Schwein too.The only way Bayern are buying Vidal is if they sell at least 2 of their central midfielders.
If it means us missing out, but getting Bastian for a decent price, I'd be happy enough.
Kroos, Bastian, Martinez, Lahm and Thiago
