I did wonder this when I saw how attacking he is.
Bearing in mind Mata is 100% attack, and Herrera has spent a lot of time as a 10 as well!

This is just from my limited knowledge, but from what I know there's two ways to fix that particular injury. From the extremely short rehab time it seems he might've chosen to trim off the damaged cartilage, rather than try to repair it - which I think has a much longer rehab time, to avoid missing the world cup.

Yes.Give Juventus a blank cheque for him. They can write whatever number they want. Vidal, Herrera and Mata would take the piss. Wouldn't even need to further invest in the defence, as we would always have the ball, all of the time.
We seem to mean business this summer money wise, put in a 60m bid for him. What have we got to lose? I'd be furious if we make no effort to sign him.
