Arturo Vidal

If Vidal's knee was 'perfect', he'd be training properly and playing already. I'm not saying it's going to be a problem, but there's enough cause for realistic concern simply in the fact that they're bringing him through slowly and haven't seen fit to let him actually play yet. So I can't really take someone who says his knee is 'perfect' and not an issue very seriously.

Yeah, I've not really heard anything about this potential transfer, didn't even know we might be in for Vidal.

I'm not disputing that some transfers take longer for reasons beyond our control - a long transfer isn't necesarily an indictment of the club.

But yes, the amount of shit spewed in a transfer thread is proprtional to how drawn out it is (amongst other factors) - there is physically only so much time people can spend posting in here, and the longer it takes the more there will be.
I disagree with most of that post, to be honest. It's not been particularly drawn out at all, and has been pretty quiet, as far as the club keeping a lid on it is concerned. Anything leaking from Juve or Vidal isn't our concern, and isn't something we can particularly control.

If it gets done we've gone about it the right way, and it's only drawn out if you check for updates every minute and look into every tiny detail. People saying they're bored of this and how long it's been drawn out for are being daft. Stop reading every little snippet then. If it's going to be done it'll be done.

And I don't see how page count = how drawn out a transfer is. Some threads just draw attention and posts. Thiago had played for Bayern and picked up a longterm injury by this time last summer, and that thread was huge.

Anyone else think this would be the most high profile signing coming IN to the Prem? I can only think of Costa having similar press but even that seemed more muted than this.

Definitely. The best midfielder in the world right now.

This sounds as much as an "signal of intent" move as much as a incredible addition to the squad.
Indeed. With Vidal and LvG I think that brings us back to having a manger and squad capable of challenging for the title.

Hope we seal transfer of him and Cuadrado before the season begins. It will be fantastic! We muppets are waiting for so long and if we get Herrera, Shaw, Vidal, Cuadrado and some CB in one transfer season, we might just run out of bodily fluids for considerable time.

I'd rather see us sign a CB after this. A nice solid one with some experience.

Really? I know he's world class, but would you say he's better than yaya?
This season and currently? Definitely yes. Yaya, Modric and Vidal are the top three for me and I think Vidal tops them at the moment in terms of whole package.

Allegri on Vidal.

"I have spoken with Vidal, mainly about his physical condition," Allegri said.

"Things went well. It would be great if he were to stay at Juventus.

Stop. Posting. Shit. Nobodies. Who. Know. F*ck. All.

"Over 59k followers", bloody hell. Did you not notice he's also following over 59k? Probably bought them, or joined a followback chain.
