Arturo Vidal

I will be in Italy myself from Tuesday until friday. If there is anything I can do whilst over there, dammit I will do it

It is interesting that Vidal hardly appears in the photos of coverage of tour by official Juve FB page. Usually Pogba, Evra, Pirlo etc feature more prominently.

Am I right that he's not playing or fully training yet? Wouldn't that explain it?

Ya, that is one but they had this 'countdown' thing to tour. The 3 players they showed were Tevez, Pirlo and Chiellini...Then they focus on Evra as well in promotion. Pogba too appears more. Vidal less so. Clutching at straws, but whatever... :D

I have been watching the aussie media today and vidal was not in anything. I seen footage of him going to the hotel and thats about it.

Buffon, Pogba, Tevez and Evra have been doing the heavy duty media duties.

If you are from Sydney you better go and stalk Vidal up until he finally drops a hint. You are more or less the muppets' embassador right now mate.

I can imagine Woody nervously standing outside having a smoke while Vidal does his medical. Prob hoping the knee problem means he won't have to part with £45m. We're the richest club in the World, why is this dragging on so long, nearly 500 pages now.
Dragging on so long, 500 pages. As if the length of the thread dictates how drawn out a transter has been. Obviously, if Woodward was doing his job properly, this should have been dealt with within 200 pages.

I saw a few of them today but he was nowhere to be seen. Saw the cnut Tevez though.

That isn't obviously the case though, is it? We don't want to spunk £40-£50 million on a player that we don't know whether his knees are fecked or not. I actually think he is doing the right thing here, and I would not be surprised if van Gaal had a big say on this decision too.

The last few pages became a little weird.

This is a huge thread and we haven't even made a bid yet.

Did we ever find out if the quotes from the chile national coach were legit? that was probably the juiciest bit of gossip weve had.

I guess sarcasm is hard to read in typed form.

I wasn't for one minute suggesting this should have been done within 200 pages, I'm suggesting that page counts on a transfer forum don't mean jack. Read the post I quoted.

I guess it shows how quckly and quietly we got the transfer wrapped up.
This, if it gets done, will have been done pretty quietly, no?

And it'll take however long it takes because that's how long it'll have to take. The amount of shit spewed in a transfer thread surely isn't an indictment of how drawn out a transfer has been. Has it even been that drawn out?

I agree.
The reason this reached so many pages is firstly Twitter and secondly that Vidal is a player that is exactly what we need, one of the best CM out there and a signing that would almost make too much sense.

Yeah, I've not really heard anything about this potential transfer, didn't even know we might be in for Vidal.

I'm not disputing that some transfers take longer for reasons beyond our control - a long transfer isn't necesarily an indictment of the club.

But yes, the amount of shit spewed in a transfer thread is proprtional to how drawn out it is (amongst other factors) - there is physically only so much time people can spend posting in here, and the longer it takes the more there will be.

Just noticed that, Vidal is conspicuously missing from all the media relating to the tour.

Ah, got you there chief. Yes, the amount of times I have been misread for sarcasm has amounted to many times.
