I come online and see the Vidal thread bumped up on top and my heart start beating so heavily that I think i'm about to have a stroke - only to find out you guys are doing some fecking small talk over a player. Please only bump these thread if there is something of substance happening.

You need to get out more.

1) Loser
2) wait for credible information before entering said players transfer thread in the transfer window?

as if people would want to discuss Vidal when Chile are playing Brazil eh!

if threads only got bumped when things happened, this forum would be pretty dead

Frigging is

Just me who thinks he's not world class?

A week ago I said he might just get a red card today. They were over me like rabid dogs.
Good for him he's playing higher up the pitch in this tournament. He's just too aggressive in his box to box role at times. World class..? That he is.

Important to remember today he isn't fully fit, still recovering from that injury he got a week or so ago.

He still hasn't been bad though, how many times has he won the ball back?

Yeah I agree, very good performance but I think it says a lot for a player when this is quite far from his highest standard.

He's been excellent in midfield. Has to take some responsibility for the goal they conceded, but otherwise has won a lot of important battles.

Beast of a player, would be amazing if we got him.

Alas probably the only way would be to repay Turin the gold stolen in the Italian Job!

In case no one's said anything we're favourites for Vidal on Sky bet. Muppet mode engaged.

I think he's a top player, although there does seem to be a bit of an agenda with regards to him. I've seen many drool-worthy performances in my time, and it appears that Vidal doesn't need to produce one to get the same reaction. Every single minutely good thing he does is evidence of him being the greatest midfielder ever apparently, but in reality I don't think he's been that special.

When the media like you, they like you.

He's been playing with a knee injury, I guess a cautious approach

He's had a great game but there was nothing we didn't know he could do already. He's been putting in brilliant performances against top teams for a long time now.

Didn't he have knee surgery just a month ago? Wonder how that will affect his explosiveness going forward. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like Suarez, he chose to have the short fix rather than a full repair?

And then someone referenced United having the funds to do it and he just replied "aye".

On.

I think it's fair to say United are interested, and Juve are one of those sides that'll do a deal if the cash is right; United have a big budget. LvG has also spoken well of him while at the World Cup. Question is, will he come without Champions League football? A shit tonne of money may do it.

if we're willing to pay £30m for the likes of Herrera and Shaw, then we should be willing to pay £45m for Vidal. he's worth that extra £15m, easily easily easily.
