His knee is fine and your negative attitude is not helping him recover!not to quell the dream, but this may mean nothing if we think he's crocked.

Well yeah, "at least one" suggests 1 or more. I agree though, I'd love us to get in 2/3 more centre backs but with Van Gaal being (rightly) fond of Keane and Blackett I could only see 1/maybe 2 coming in.If we are really playing 3 at the back we need at least two more
Well we can't be having any positive through balls to the likes of Ronaldo and Messi. Best to just work it across the midfield in our own half.
Imagine that our chance to sign a world class midfielder fell apart because he had a bad knee. Would be infuriating.I hope to feck, his knee will be ok and we actually sign a proven world class midfielder !!
Now you're getting the ideaRafael and Di Maria aiming crosses for Messi's head.
Look who's come crawling back! A bit of radio silence and you well and truly bottled itMy fellow muppets please forgive me for my faltering. We're signing Vidal. Of that I'm sure now
While it sounds risky, we have to take into consideration that Vidal is a world class athlete that runs a lot as a center midfielder. He's well-versed at keeping his body in top shape and knowing what he can and can't do. And while he did take a risk playing in the World Cup he didn't re-injure himself so I would take that as him knowing his limitations well. If he feels his knee is fine and the club is happy with the medical synopsis then we should go through with the deal. Players like Vidal don't come around that often.Meniscus Surgery.
What to expect after surgery.
Your surgeon may recommend that you do not move your knee more than absolutely necessary (immobilization) for 2 weeks after surgery. This may be followed by 2 weeks of limited motion before you are able to resume daily activities. Physical therapy should begin right after surgery. But heavy stresses, such as running and squats, should be postponed for some months. You must follow your doctor's rehabilitation (rehab) plan for optimum healing. Afterwards, you may still continue to have pain and require more physical therapy or, sometimes, additional surgery.
The timetable for returning to walking, driving, and more vigorous activities will depend on your success in rehab.
I think we really should stay away from this, its looking too risky as Vidal underwent surgery just 5 weeks before Chile's first game at WC.

Have we bid yet?
They aren't all like that though. I had acl and meniscus reconstruction a month ago and I was allowed to bear weight right away, whereas Vidal's was probably a minor meniscus fix. Also it's completely different with professional athletes, the recovery time is probably about half as long as normal because they are so fit to begin with and work on physio every day.Meniscus Surgery.

The full backs will provide that, with Strootman giving the protection to the defence. A bit like 5-3-2 except the third centre back is replaced with Strootman. Or even Fletcher/ Carrick.zero width in that
We take our preparation phase quite seriously. Best in the business at it.Still preparing it.

He looks angry and confused...

That's ok then, got a little bit worries then. Think I'll have a heart attack when/if we bidStill preparing it.
Ah the late bid syndrome, they'd accept €45m in June, we pay €60m in August - the Woodward wayWoodward is doing it by typewriter. He started in June so should be done around the 28th of February
Definitely a Europa league spot.Guys I'm not going overboard here but
---------------------da gea----------
----hummels -marquinos - Evans--
Rafael ---------------------di Maria
----------Herrera --Vidal---------
--------------mata--------------
----- ----- messi ----Ronaldo------
I honestly think we'd get back in top 4
Considering going to mass for this oneImagine that our chance to sign a world class midfielder fell apart because he had a bad knee. Would be infuriating.

His surgeon told him to rest for longer, according to some reports, but Vidal rushed himself back. This situation with Vidal's knee just makes me feel bad for him. If he's set himself back by playing at the world cup, surely his doctor or whoever is responsible for assessing his fitness should have been firmer for his own good?

They'll throw him on, and if he doesn't collapse hopefully we'll give him the medical. Which he'll then probably fail.Maybe I'm been thick, but if he's not training with the squad then is he really likely to play much on this tour and prove anything what so ever to LvG?
I'd willingly accept that, as long as he ends up here!Ah the late bid syndrome, they'd accept €45m in June, we pay €60m in August - the Woodward way

When do Juve play their first friendly game?

They couldn't do that to us. Imagine them announcing we had signed Vidal then a few days later saying he failed the medical.Seems a strange one, surely we can't assess him on this pre season tour at all, a proper medical would show up any issues, if he fails it just pull out of the deal then, all very odd.
