Medel arrived to Italy to undergo his medical for Inter... After that, Felicevich is free to bring the cash to Juventus Ed.

He's a football agent, he can work on more than one transfer.

Medel to Inter is good move for all parties involved.

you'd think his national team manager would have some pretty good info on the situation.

But I always remember back to Poland's coach saying that Lewandowski was coming to us! And being massively wrong.

Juventus fan didn't say that "he wants to leave Juventus for #MUFC". I know we're the only team that's been strongly interested in him this summer but it could be for someone else.

So its according to Juve_Fan now?

Aren't the sky Italia quotes/reports out in the open if they were actually made.

HOLD UP we have a serious case of hypocrisy going on in this thread. For whatever reason, people are believing Sky Italia when it's bad news yet say they are an outrage to journalism when they say something good?! Go figure.

Like I said before when he signs I can't wait to see this thread and the nay sayers.

On another note what the hell Juve, let him train, they are obviously protecting their stock here, I find it a little uncomfortable that he is being almost held to ransom by Juve. Why take him on tour if your just going to keep him on the sidelines and away from the group?!

One of the most recurring topics during Chile's appearance at the World Cup was the operated knee of Arturo Vidal which, according to Sampaoli, allowed him to play at around 30-40% of his level at Juventus, and has kept 'Celia Punk' [apparently nicknamed after the Cuban singer, Celia Cruz] in a guarded (or delicate) condition.

Sampaoli praised the "enthusiasm, temperament, and fantastic example Vidal set for all, even at the cost of complicating his personal objectives in the future. Because I know, right now, for example, that the great obstacle in his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United is the doubt van Gaal (United's trainer) has regarding the improvement of Vidal's knee" [Emphasis mine]

Q: And you, sir, do you think that's fair? Don't you think you should have protected a bit more the condition of the player?

Sampaoli: There are different viewpoints, and all very legitimate. But Vidal's character, the message sent by his attitude to his teammates, as someone responsible for the side, is all you can ask. It was really outstanding. Impressive."

Q: Was it necessary to field him against N. Ireland, after the rain, and only a few weeks after being operated on?

Sampaoli: The truth is, it wasn't in the plan for Vidal to play that game in Valparaiso. However, soon after it began, he asked me to play (him) for a while, well, because he wanted to see how the knee felt. The truth is, that week he had already carried out high loading [on the knee], and we didn't believe the demands in training were less than those in the game against Ireland so, ultimately, he played those 15 minutes."

If this is all true, and the condition of Vidal's knee is the stumbling block for a deal going through, you would imagine that all of this should be concluded either way in the near future.

Can anyone give me an update on the situation?

The above of photo of Vidal is clearest sign yet that he is fed up with Juventus and wants to join United.

Someone should do an Ashley Cole with this photo.

Yeah but it seems it has been like that for a while now, so the question is, why is this dragging so long and how does he prove his knee is ok?

Or, we’ve already decided it’s too risky and we don’t want him. Would this Chilean coach know that a decision has been made? I mean, this could be a little outdated info…

Just got optimistic about this one again after a few weeks of roller coaster of emotions towards this thread!

A fit Vidal with his work rate and tackling along with Herrera's work rate and tackling we'll be winning a lot of balls back before a team gets to break on us from a failed shot up front.

................De Gea
.......Evans..Jones..Blackett
Young.......................Shaw
..........Vidal......Herrera
................Mata
...........RVP......Rooney

Oh sweet jesus

I know someone who is a psychologist, and he can confirm that this photo does in fact signal Vidal's thoughts on leaving. He also is deciding whether to fly private jet or to take a chopper with Woody.

That looks pretty good apart from dropping our best defender.
