Arturo Vidal

Woody's doing it Stealth United. Herrera Thursday, Shaw Friday and Vidal Monday

I just find it very strange that Madrid all of a sudden switch focus to Toni Kroos as we get more and more heavily linked with Vidal. Either Madrid have decided to go another way or we have convinced Vidal. Either way, I think Juve see him as a saleable asset and want to cash in now.

Vidal doesn't strike me as the type of player who'd come to a club without CL Football, especially considering his age. If Madrid are in for him he's going there, which means we may well get Khedira.

Well, Khedira is the same age and is playing for the CL title holders.

Doubt anything would happen while he's still in the world cup. What I've been happy with is Woodward getting the deals wrapped up so the player can go on holiday and get back for pre season tour. So if Chile get knocked out by Brazil we might not have to wait very long to find out if there's any truth to the Vidal/Sanchez rumours.

I don't see this one happening.

Struggling to think why he'd come here - If Real are interested then the'll pay more and generally have more allure.

If they aren't, as a Chilean I'd probably fancy Juve and CL over United in transition.

Money talks though, as it has proven to so many times. CL football or not, a move to United would be a big step up anyway.

This. I will have no shame in shouting for Brazil this weekend. We'd sooner know what the situation is.

On the other, it doesn't take a massive leap of faith to assume that United with LVG, Herrera, Shaw, Vidal and anybody else we sign are likely to be straight back into the Champions League.

So you're balancing one season without vs the fact that you're going to a team that has been in three finals in the last 7 years, as opposed to staying at a team that has made the 1/4 finals once, the round of 16 once, and failed to qualify for the competition three times in that period.

This is our new home now that the Shaw transfer is done?

If we really sign Vidal I dont see the need to buy Sanchez. He's obvi a great player, but we need to offload atleast two players before we can accomodate Sanchez. Young, Hernandez should be told they can find new homes. I'm not really sure I'd sell Nani yet - he's been frustrating, but he still has that touch of genius we lack.

Bebe, Young, Nani, Anderson out, Sanchez and Vidal in, simples.

We'll be lucky to get more than £20million for that group of rejects. Vidanchez could cost us anywhere from £65-90million.

The club has clearly got money to spend - its not a case of balancing the books. And they'd save a fortune in wages.

Not really important given the money we have to spend anyway, but it's worth noting that Nani's still well regarded outside of the PL. An Italian team would probably pay £10-15m for him. And if we sell Bebe to Portugal we'll get a decent fee, he's been one of the league's form strikers and there's been a lot of talk that he should have gone to the WC. £5-8m shouldn't be too difficult to get. Young's been poor for us but not to the extent that we're in a 'get rid at any cost' situation, so a mid-table PL club would probably pay £8-10m for him. That's £23-33m in total, which isn't too bad.

As for Anderson, if I was a manager you couldn't pay me to take him. His catering bill alone...

No. Obvi we can agree Bebe should leave, and I'll agree with Young aswell. But selling Anderson wont be easy, because nobody wants him around.

Find out the nearest branch of McDonalds to any club he might join and ask them to contribute.

This would be the best signing we've made in years!

Chile need to lose tomorrow for him to go back to England, pass his medical and sign. So Monday at the earliest IF we were to sign him (big IF).

Would prefer us to tell Juventus to name their price for Pogba. Bring him home and let's pretend last season never happened.

Is he as good as Yaya?

Definately better going back but not going forward for me. Yaya needs a real holder next to him as City have shown to get the best out of him. Vidal doesnt need that he's the box to box machine.
