I really don't see why they would feel the need to offer him a pay rise when he has a contract with them til 2017 and apparently they have the option to extend that to 2018.
If they are serious about keeping Vidal, they hold all the powers as they have him until he is 30 so even if they lost him on a free then they'd have had the best of his peak years and should they still want to keep him they have 3 years to agree the bumper contract which you can't imagine he would turn down as he approaches 30.

I love this place. All of you getting your knickers in a twist because Moratta said he hasn't asked to leave. Of course he hasnt, yet anyway. Felecivich will do that. And if reports are to be believed that would be tomorrow. I'm calm. It's still very much ArturONYep but he is still going to assess his squad. Obviously we will be in talks but I don't think any deals will be done until after the tour.
