Arturo Vidal

You can continue to convince yourself with whatever reasons you can come up with it. To me, those quotes are pretty conclusive. I just hope the club have other midfield targets in mind

Honestly, if you think Vidal going back to training today and walking into Marotta's office to say he wants to leave was every even slightly a realistic scenario you're absolutely mental.

If you think Marotta was going to come out and say "we have spoken to Vidal, he says he is happy enough staying but if the right bid comes in we will probably sell him" then you're absolutely mental.

Standard transfer posturing between two clubs when the player involved is world class.

Whatever he says people will twist to see what they want. "Non-transferrable" means 'cough up' apparently.

He could tie Vidal to the turnstiles of the Stadio Delle Apli, naked and draped in a Juve flag and we'd still assume he's just playing hard to get.

I'm losing faith, I want it so bad. Just waiting an united rep to state we aren't even in for him.

I'm still praying though.

Hang in there man! I'm with you, I have a feeling in my bones we will sign me. Will be gutted if we wont though. I'll be off Redcafe for a few weeks.

We never had Vidal in mind in the first place so you make a moot point. LVG knows who he wants to bring to United and we'll see the players revealed once we're back from the bloody annoying tour.

No one including you knows if we had Vidal in mind or not, so your point is moot as well. It could well be that we were interested but Juventus had no intention of selling him in the first place, or the player himself is happy at the club, or yes we weren't even interested in the first place. So if we now know we can seek closure for Vidal, let's hope the club swiftly follow on to other targets, if there is even any

2011 - Sneijder
2012 - Hazard, Lucas Moura
2013 - Thiago, Fabregas
2014 - Vidal

At this rate we'll be stuck with a mediocre midfield forever :(

I was going to do one of those "To the.....thread" posts, but then I realized there's nowhere to go of any interest.

It's really not that hard to grasp, yet people here believe everything they read, one way or the other.

As I said, you can convinced yourself with those theories or scenarios ;)

I'm personally convinced it's dead

Those Cleverley comments are becoming a bit boring tbh.
Pretty much like his performances.

I am hanging in there, I'm dreading the official disappointment statement. I reckon by Wednesday it will be sorted one way or another

If the Juve president said that, its just might be over
Ive never heard of transfer involving a top target playing out in this manner...except maybe Berbatov but everyone knows that Levy is a cnut.

He's lousy I know. But leave him be. Hopefully we'll get rid of him soon. :) He's a nice lad and all I'm sure but not good enough.

Exactly, and people were even more sure of us getting Thiago than Vidal. Plus, Sir Alex clearly signalled his intentions on Hazard and Moura (particularly Moura), yet failed to get both. Vidal's nowhere near Hazard and Moura in terms of how close he is to coming to us. This is Sneijder all over again.

Worse thing is that if the Vidal transfer dies, where the feck are we going to post (except twitter thread) there isn't another muppet thread going!!

Kill me, kill me now

Should I buy a telescope ?
