Well thats that over, hope all you muppets shut up now.

You're twice as bad as any muppets in here. Nothing is certain yet and you talk as if it is.

If Marotta has said he's not going to sell him, it means nothing, it's just classic posturing and until any official bids are made and rejected, the situation stays the same

Every single summer I'm dragged into these stupid transfer dreams and then always crushed. From now on, I am believing nothing till I hear the player is having a medical.

Google translate is a bit shit, comes out with this: To Romulo ready to close, Vidal has not asked to leave.

edit: Vidal? We have a clear idea, and no player has renewed expressed no intention of going away.

It also doesn't exactly say that it's the choice of the player and the club.

Vidal comes back to the club from his holiday, has a meeting and then Marotta comes out to say he is not sellable.

If Vidal wasn't pushing for the exit they'd have said "we have spoken to the player and we are both in agreement that he will be staying with us".

Come off it. He's not going to come out and say "Yea he could go" till the day he leaves, they will say he's unobtainable.

Di marZio has said that Vidal has told them he's happy to stay. Or he hasn't asked to leave.

Again, same situation as last time. We haven't bid yet so what else are they going to say? Saying Vidal hasnt asked to leave yet means feck all because why would he ask when we haven't put in a bid? Once we bid, then he'll talk to them and we'll find out for sure.

Moratta actually said the player hasn't asked to leave, so that's that. I don't see why some of you are still clinging onto the hope as much as I want to see this transfer happen

I think this one is now dead in the water. And probably has been for a couple of weeks. Good muppeting though.

If we have not bid yet, then we are not interested and probably never were.

It is incredibly rare that a player asks to leave.

It's well documented when it happens because by doing so they forfeit a percentage of their contract they are entitled to. As Vidal has 3 years left on a good contract he's hardly going to out in a transfer request and forfeit however many millions he is entitled to, is he?

Yep this was another red herring, what else does moratta have to say, they day Vidal comes back, he says he hasn't asked to go, move one now.

So, has Vidal joined the greats?

Can we put him up there with Legends like Sneijder, Thiago and Fabregas?

It's going to be so sweet when this finally goes through

Can everyone remember when Bale asked to leave for Madrid? No, I thought not.

This will probably end like Fabregas. Player as talks tells CEO he does not want to leave and then reiterates it at a press conference ,before getting as shiny new contract.

It ain't over till it's over. I don't trust bald Italians anyway, sorry.

People actually think it's over

There's another 3000 pages left in this at least.

You can continue to convince yourself with whatever reasons you can come up with it. To me, those quotes are pretty conclusive. I just hope the club have other midfield targets in mind

We never had Vidal in mind in the first place so you make a moot point. LVG knows who he wants to bring to United and we'll see the players revealed once we're back from the bloody annoying tour.

Vidal should say it then i believe it!!

I don't care what the Juventus president says during the transfer window!!!!!

If tomorrow there were rumors about Mata stating that hes going to leave and Ed flat out squashed those rumors woudnt you give it any credit?

I agree that the nail in the coffin would be Vidal saying it loud and clear that hes not going but for now the deal is still as dead as it been for the past couple of weeks.
