I use a magic 8 ball for all of life's decisions too! Just keep shaking it until it gives me the answer I want!!

I can't see them selling to Liverpool because of Heysel. Have the 2 clubs done any business since?

Also hardly think center mid is where Rodgers wants to be spending £40m.

They are business people. Morals dont exist. If liverpool stump up the money, and Juve want to sell then their money is as good as anyone elses.

As for whether he'd go there or not, If Juve want to sell, and he decides not to stay, they offer CL football.. in addition what if they are the only team that meets the asking price? off course he'd go there. Who would have thought Sanchez would go to Arsenal?

Why is Vidal thread hidden from guests on juventus forum..?

They don't want others to laugh at their meltdown or am I missing something here..?

I want this to happen as much as all the believers in here. Tbh I have been drawn into believing there is something going on myself, but the more I think about it, the more I can't see it. I would love to be quoted on this in the near future, as nothing would please me more about being wrong.

They've signed 4 central midfielders this window already for a combined fee of 20m euros. 2 of which have been added since Conte left (they haven't sold any CM's). They now have 9 CM's. They're wanting to sign some big name players but have already spent 40m (with 20m recouped in sales). For a club who's not in the best financial position at the moment, they can't afford to spend massively unless they recoup some through sales.

I'm sure Juventus would accept the 50-60m euro offer (which we have apparently made). It'll all boil down to whether Vidal wants to leave, if he doesn't mind leaving for what will probably be double his current salary, then I can't see there being any genuine issues and I imagine the transfer will happen fast to allow Juventus to go after more signings.

They are either spending money they already know they will receive or spending money they are hoping to receive.

If it's the latter and we have something in place with Vidal already, you can understand why we are playing hard ball with the fee.

They feel all embarrassed, because now everyone knows they're not proper Italian's as they cant speak a friggin word of the lingo & watching "The Godfather" (Parts 1-3) 1000 times - doesnt render them Italian either..

Kapish? :)

Surely the fans will make it not worth their while to sell to Liverpool, assuming they do feel that strongly about this. They supposedly damaged cars of the president after Conte left, so Vidal leaving at all isn't going to go down well. Obviously I'm not sure how strongly the Juve fans feel about this, but they aren't going to be happy as it is. Never mind provoking their own fans more!

Agreed. Although, I don't think we'll haggle too much, there's no point risking the signing falling through over a couple of million. It's not like we're struggling for money at the moment. We always knew given the lack of quality we have in midfield that we'd have to overpay to get better midfielders in anyway. I'd rather overpay for a world class player who'd join the club and immediately make a huge impact than overpay on a gamble.

You'd think it would be the equivalent of Liverpool FC having "The Sun" as their new shirt sponsors.

Unfortunately I could really really see him going to City. It's almost perfect for them, it would be the most stunning piece of transfer stealing we've ever seen. Imagine all of us primed when the text goes up Sky sports: stand by for incredible Vidal news"

Twitter goes nuts, United fans start flapping then it happens, the bombshell Man City: "we are delighted to announce the signing of Arturo Vidal on a four year deal #Manchesterisblue"

I think I'd simply, silently walk out to my stair case, and perform a face dive off the top.

FFP has basically ruled them out. They'd have to sell at least 2 of their players. The only club that has enough money to go for Yaya would be PSG and they're having problems with FFP themselves. Under normal conditions i'd agree, but FFP has given us a much better chance.

They're only allowed to spend 30m more, that's pretty much what Mangala would cost so I doubt it. They've got Toure, Fernando, Fernandinho, Zucilini, Rodwell and Garcia. The latter two could go but they'll struggle to get game time for Fernando as it is, let a lone with someone else in too.

I'd almost pay to see that

It was truly an honor to have been graced with the presence of a truly world class muppet. Certainly up there with the top ITKS the world has ever seen. We will never forget you :(

I only see him going to City if they decide enough's enough with Yaya Toure. Vidal would be as close as it gets to a like for like replacement in the current market, as well as being younger and probably with less wage demands. I don't see him going there if Yaya is still there.

And if we do sign him would be willing to leave the cafe for a month?

The thread title should be changed from 'Arturo Vidal | The dream is dead....' to Arturo Vidal | The dream is Allllliiiiiiivvveee!.....IT'S ALIVVVEEE!!!'

+ Hummels + Vermaelen / De Vrij + Di Maria / Reus + Cuadrado.. (by the end of the window) ;)
I guess there's no harm in being ambitious. If we end up with 2 of these i'll be happy. Also, find the Hummels rumors very hard to believe, especially at £16m, its a literally laughable amount for him.

City have made it clear they accept the FFP punishment, which means they can only spend £49million this summer. Managala will cost north of £30million and I don't think they will sell anyone to make way for Vidal either. Also should note that they also bought Fernando (Midfielder) who cost them £15million. They are not buying Vidal.

I think the only teams left who are possible destinations for Vidal are probably Bayern, Chelsea and Maybe us. While Madrid and Barca are both capable of getting him as well. I'm sure there is many clubs in for him right now tbh and a bidding war might commence.
