Thats true about Casillas alright (he dropped him) & he fell out with Ramos aswell (dropped him aswell) & a few others too?!

They were the main (ol skool) men there & Mourinho put his foot down from what i gathered at the time. I think he was right about Casillas though - he's been poor for a while & Lopez was played instead of him in the league in Mourinho's last season & the same under Ancelotti last season too, so maybe that was the cause of the problem - Casillas ego more than Mourinho's.

I aint no fan of Mourinho either - even the sheer hassle it is to type the bastards name correctly does my head in..

End of the day, United need to tap into all the influences they have at the club to get transfers done & i couldnt give a shite how it gets done.

But we're not payin Real €80m for Di Maria either - they can go & shite. We could possibly buy Reus & Hummels for that amount ffs - maybe closer to €100m, but it sure as hell would be a great spend.

Reus is vastly underrated by many because he doesnt play for one of the big 4 clubs in the world, but i'd have him in a heart-beat over Di Maria any day of the week.

Di Maria seems to want a transfer & the massive pay day that comes with it. Reus missed out on a WC medal due to injury & was my pick for player of the tournament. I think its a no-brainer who's gonna be the hungrier for success at their next club!
 Brilliant!

The guy is back from holiday's now isn’t he. Hopefully if we are after him we can wrap it up quickly. I’d guess the clubs would have a decent idea of where they stand fee wise at least, so it would now be up to the player if he wants to come or not.

Thats a classic Irish thing - asking a question & answering it at the same time.. :)

As regards to Vidal - "Only God know's.." CR7TM

Imagine the meltdown on here if Woodward repeats Kenyon's antics during the Ronaldinho transfer saga and Vidal ends up in City or Liverpool.

It would be everyone's worst nightmare. I never forgave Kenyon for being the money-pinching SOB in that particular transfer saga; what a punchable cnut.

1. Claim your club isn't ambitious enough and implicitly question the quality of your teammates and the aptitude of your manager
2. Perform a u-turn after signing a mega contract which makes you the club's best paid player
3. When the club shows ambition and buys a top notch player as competition for you, throw a strop and claim you have earned the right to play in your position
4. Sign another mega contract and everything is rosy again

Vidal is nowhere near Wazza's genius at contract negotiations

5- But whatever you do always give one hundred percent on the pitch. Sorry have to stick up for our Wazza!

So they allegedly want 50 million but we are not willing to pay more than 45? Yep sounds like us.

If we miss out on him because of £5million then it really nullifies all that bollocks Woody has spouted on how we have money to spend, can break transfer record, blah blah.

I can see the whole GnG thing kicking off again since we'll again start to to question where all that sponsorship money is going...

I always found it strange when Moratta and Allegri said they spoke to Vidal and all the other players but Vidal himself said he was yet to speak with Juve

Yeah I know, he is a good player on the pitch and I've never questioned his talent on the field. I was discussing his talents off the pitch.

Think that pic has been photoshopped - here's the original:

Howard nurse is bemused by all this developments, according to him, there are other targets who are far higher in the pecking order. Well Vidal wasn't a target a week back, he is one now atleast albeit down the order.

He posted that on the 25th. I don't think he's had a word to say about it since?

That was three days ago. A lot has gone on since then... You seriously underestimate the power of our Woody... Christ keep up. ;)

There should just be a Twitter feed for Vidal to United chat.

I'd imagine under going a medical with your own club after playing injured on international duty was a pretty normal thing no?

The man has Alzheimers. Reckons he's got a "source" but it's just him stood in front of a mirror.

My bad, that quote was 3 days ago. The deal got resurrected (according to twatter, sunday something) in between

I seen what you did there.. Nice one. Who would have thought aul Ed was the Messiah?!

Nice spot thought no one would see it. Anyways now lets join our hands and pray to our Messiah.

Our Target, which Art of Juventus,
Shallow be thy Midfield.
Please will you come.
Thy will be done, at Old Trafford,
Which is not in Devon..
Give RVP this day a ball for his head.
And forgive Wayne for his misspasses,
As we forgave Vieira for his miss pass against us.
And lead us not into midtable,
But deliver us your dead balls.
For Old Trafford is the kingdom,

Hot showers, and the warm tea,

For ever and ever injured, Owen.

This. He'd suffered a knee injury, played in the world cup and has been on holiday for a couple of weeks. You'd expect a club to assess his health and fitness prior to a new season.

Nothing to see here you gimps.

Good that he's having a medical, it means we wont have to do it, we'll just ask Juventus doctors if everything is all right.

Didn't we already do something similar with Hargreaves and Bayern? Turned out great that did...
