Nice spot thought no one would see it. Anyways now lets join our hands and pray to our Messiah.

Our Target, which Art of Juventus,
Shallow be thy Midfield.
Please will you come.
Thy will be done, at Old Trafford,
Which is not in Devon..
Give RVP this day a ball for his head.
And forgive Wayne for his misspasses,
As we forgave Vieira for his miss pass against us.
And lead us not into midtable,
But deliver us your dead balls.
For Old Trafford is the kingdom,

Hot showers, and the warm tea,

For ever and ever injured, Owen.

Good shit.

But I thought it was in the bag?

I guess it's comparable to the excitement a 6 year old gets when he opens this at Christmas:

I thought this was dead in the water, but there seems to have been about a million posts since I last looked. Is anything actually happening to suggest otherwise? Or just transfer muppets being transfer muppets?

The journo from La Stampa said that City and Liverpool have also made offers ... This is make it or break it for Woody the sheer meltdown that will happen if he snubs United for City/Liverpool would be insane.

Blind hope.

Bumfluff, read between the lines.

Juventus are spending a mini fortune and continue to be linked to yet more signings whilst selling none.
Reliable journalist says it on a day before Vidal meets with his agent in Turin.

Today was always going to be the day when it was going to happen. He's a pro, nothing was ever going to be done via the media, it was always going to happen with face to face talks.

I need to tidy up my house before my parents come home from holiday. When I refresh this page, I hope to see there have been several more pages.

See y'all soon.

Wouldn't worry about either of those. City have FFP cuffs on their hands ( works only on English teams it seems ) so they'd have to flog Yaya in order to make financial place for Vidal, plus they're about to sign Mangala so money's being spent anyway.

Liverpool is Liverpool, worry not. Juve's our biggest rival at the moment but I still believe that we'll all celebrate this week.

Surely Juve would rather sell to us than Liverpool but money talks and I'm sure our money is stronger. :D

:D Bum fluff made me giggle like a 14 year old school girl!

I fear there will be no bandage big enough to repair the damage in this thread when the inevitable happens. :nervous:

Out of here non believer! This is a different scenario from other Seasons. If it was Sir Alex at the helm i'd fear for our chances, but we have Van Gaal and Woody and they won't be afraid to spend big. Woody's itching to get a world class player. It'll boil down to 2 things:
  1. Will Vidal leave Juventus for a higher wage and join us
  2. Can Juventus match our wage offer

Yeah a lot of used sticky tissues as well! I'm waiting for the inevitable 'happy at juventus' tweet that will be posted this evening!

Needs burning at the stake me thinks!
To be fair I also am very very skeptical but I'm still here checking, I would say I'm muppet-curious!

I want this to happen as much as all the believers in here. Tbh I have been drawn into believing there is something going on myself, but the more I think about it, the more I can't see it. I would love to be quoted on this in the near future, as nothing would please me more about being wrong.

And me!

Talking purely theoretically, if we're not going to get him () I hope he stays put.

I can't see them selling to Liverpool because of Heysel. Have the 2 clubs done any business since?

Also hardly think center mid is where Rodgers wants to be spending £40m.
