How come when Real Madrid or Barcelona want a new player they just have to click their fingers but with us it's always that interminable wait to see if our bid is accepted?

Ay, Bale had a solid pre season with Madrid last year. Good work on their part.
 
Hope this doesn't happen and if we are truly dealing with them I hope it breaks down.

I wanted him to join us but then we bought Herrera. Not compatible.

Holding my breath for a different reason than most on here...

Is this the reverse physcology thing???

Where you really really want us to sign him but don't want to jinx it by getting your hopes up. But if you hope hard enough for the move to break down then it might improve the chances of this deal happening?

If we do get him then a certain Mr LVG thinks they're compatible. Or there's at least room in the squad for them both.

Adding quality to our squad that's as short as ours is rarely a bad thing.

Why would we need more quality when we've already got "I'm a Van Gaal type player" Captain Cleverley?? :confused:
 
There's too much smoke now for there not to be a fire somewhere.

It seems a fact we've tabled a massive bid. It seems a fact Arturo and Juve are mulling it over. It has been suggested Liverpool are in for Vidal as well. Liverpool are in the CL of course but they'll be dropped quickly.

If Arturo is thinking of leaving for greener pastures, the choice between a united and Liverpool is a no-brainer.

Perhaps Evra can help us out one last time.

But isn't that the problem with social media? A spotty little kid sitting in his smelly bedroom somewhere in the world invents a rumour and within hours it's tweeted and FB'd and whatever else across the internet and it becomes fact because so many people are saying it?

Sadly we often see smoke without fire these days.
 
I've seen a similar "replacement" story from Gazzetta as well. I think appeasing the fans mode might be fully on by Juve.
 
Does no one in Itally do any work? Get to work early, not at the freaking night tome, some of us are exploding with excitement over this.
 
Toured half of Europe to find offers for Poor Vidal but nobody wanted to pay up 45 million euros. All a bit dramatic.


I think we might be interested in signing him but this all business of agent touring Europe collecting offers etc.. doesn't seem something usually we would get involved in.

You havent been on here that long mate & you may have missed reading all the posts on previous transfer saga's that went tits up..

Check out the most recent one - the "Thiago" thread - its like a funeral when he agrees to join Bayern. Bad days on the Caf they were after that..

But then we signed Fellaini & the sun-shined once again..

There was us thinkin we'd sign no-one of any quality & then all of a sudden we get the lanky one in. Aul Davey Moyes was some messer playin us like that.. Rascal..
