Well, I trust in van Gaal.. It would perhaps be better to get a quality defensive midfielder to play alongside Herrera and then buy Strootman in January or next summer anyway. I really hope we try to buy Khedira from Real Madrid if he's available.

Not convinced by Mitten's knowledge, doesn't make sense it took Van Gaal this long to pull the plug, after according to him first showing interest. Luis Gustavo, he's a good player. Fans here were interested when Bayern wanted to get rid of him. He's just turned 27 so he's entering his prime. He distributes the ball well, breaks up play, reads the game well. I'd say he would cost 15-20 million euros. He would be a good signing. I doubt Wolfsburg sells though.I am almost certain that tomorrow Italian newspapers will rekindle this deal. Still wont believe it'll happen.

As for his play I really did think he looked like a more exciting Kleberson and was impressed but then it all went wrong for Brazil and even he started to look ropey. Price wise sounds decent.
