I completely agree, I don't understand how a club of our stature seem to ride transfers. We have the money, we have the wages. Chelsea, Madrid, City, Barca etc seem to snap up their targets no problem. You rarely hear one of their targets not joining for some reason or another.
Woodward said he wants to stop the best players going to Spain, well Woody nows your time to prove yourself. I have no doubt we will make some good signings before September, but wether it will be the marquee targets we are all desperate for, I don't know.
Hope our transfer business goes crazy soon, can feel a big month coming up.
