Arne Slot | Liverpool manager (Posture and/or Sack Watch)

Surely this complete lack of rotation to some of their core players is going to come back to bite?

Wheels are starting to come off. Forest next in the league.

They have Accrington Stanley this weekend, the majority can rest.

True, and they have the luxury of doing that in their next champions league games.

But he basically never rotates some key players

Because they're 1-0 down to Spurs in a semi final?

Behave

Very surprised that Kelleher didn't play today considering how good he was in Allison's absence. Seems a bit shit to not play him even in the league Cup

Allison was out for quite a long time and Kelleher got a decent run in the team then, that's probably what Slot is thinking.

I can’t believe the fecking moaning over an injustice of a missed yellow card when the first one was fecking soft in the first place.

How is THIS a controversy that people are discussing.

Well the play ends in a goal and I think also with one of their players outside the pitch (might be wrong about this last one), RedCafe would be fuming in a similar situation, I mean any big club always have lots of forumers/fans that are always feeling perjudicated the whole time, it would have a similar reaction anywhere.

We moan about similar “injustices” on here. Agreed.

The big difference is that when it’s United:

1. United keep their mouths shut about it.
2. The media is absolutely silent on the subject.

When it’s Liverpool:

1. Their manager doesn’t shut up about it.
2. The media spends the next week forensically analysing it, to the point they spend an hour talking about it in the build up to an unrelated match. It’s then raised constantly throughout the season.

He only had to go off the field because he was making a meal of the challenge trying to get a player sent off. There was nothing wrong with him. Karma

Absolutely. But as always LFC (as sponsored by Sky Sports seemingly) will spend half the season debating this

We don't have another option (or decent one) to play RW.
Do you think you'll end up tiring Salah out before too long? I know he had his chance last night, granted and obviously I get he's a brilliant player for you but at some point he will need a rest?

Not sure yet. I need to see how he does over the rest of January.

There is always a media uproar when a big decision goes against Liverpool, its a big part of the reason that no visiting team ever gets any big decision at Anfield.
