Arne Slot | Liverpool manager (Posture and/or Sack Watch)

There's a difference between living rent-free in someone's head and being aware of the rivalry and how such a comment here and there will be perceived by your (and their) fanbase, I'm sure you'd agree? It's not like he mentions United all the time or anything like that, unless I'm mistaken.

That's not true, and I'd even say that the opposite is more accurate in that I'm probably a lot more aware than your average Liverpool fan of what we as a club and a fanbase do/did wrong, exactly because of my presence on here for 10+ years and that I see first-hand how most of our actions, performances, comments, and whatnot are perceived by rival fans.

And I'm sure you'd agree, as someone "more aware than your average Liverpool fan", that he doesn't need to score points with his own fanbase when his team is clear at the top of the league, on the verge of winning a trophy, and favourites for the CL? Enough points are being scored already, surely?

I'm sure you'll also agree, as someone "more aware than your average Liverpool fan", that it's a bit weird to be concerned with riling up Manchester United fans in the name of rivalry, when we're over a month removed from the last time the two played each other and at least 6 months away from the next meeting, when the next game is the Merseyside derby? The focus should, presumably, be on the next league match, a fixture against your most local rival that you've not actually been that successful in recently?

I think we should argue for a while about whether it is, in fact, ‘weird’.

And more importantly, one person should repeatedly declare how they're absolutely fine with Manchester United fans thinking the Liverpool manager has been a bit weird, but then constantly try and explain why they're wrong and that he isn't at all weird.

Disagree on the first one, you have a point for the second one but I don't think that particular comment will take away any focus at all by the players for the upcoming Everton game.

You think he needs to concern himself with getting Liverpool fans on-side by making petty remarks about Manchester United, despite the performances this season, when everyone expected you to drop off massively?

Okay then.

Okay then.
But he did, even though they played more long balls than Plymouth as is their normal game plan. Loves a long ball, Arnie

I don't see how our league position is relevant, would the comment be more acceptable to you if we were 5th or 10th?

I also thought the Alberto Moreno "get out United get out" moment was great even though he probably "shouldn't have concerned himself with getting Liverpool fans on-side" after just winning a European cup either, in your view.

Because your argument is that he's done it to win favour with your fans, when the performances this season have certainly earned him more than enough.

Moreno was a shit player quickly relegated to the bench before being sold. Him making a petty comment to get a bit of attention after a cup final he watched from the sidelines (before being shipped out that summer) is very different to your manager doing it in the middle of the season after an embarrassing cup defeat.

Is this the beginning of a Benitez style meltdown bringing out stats to back up his point? Is he transforming from Arne Slot to Arne Stat?

This smug fecker is about to moan about long balls again.

not sure he comes back from a second 2-2 drubbing within a month.

Posture watch

can’t handle it when they’re reffed and varred fairly.

He's not klopp level of annoying but there is something really irritating about the bloke. (Other than being associated with that lot).

fair result, silly by liverpool to get involved in the end, funny thing about a draw is it can feel like a bad or very good result depending on when the goals come, still 1 point each and and a good point for both on the night this time I would say

Seems to have a high blood pressure
