Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Love it, its like a cross between the original Mad Max and Ash V's the Evil Dead. Some real crazy shit going on here !

That is a great description.

The close-ups of changing gears, the grinding of people into engines, the tits, the gore - it is all so much lovely cheese. Also paired with some surprisingly decent acting, love the little small side plots and narratives as well. Also a great choice to spin a red thread with the "Heart Industries" main arch, the show needs a main arch and not simply being on an episod to episode basis.

One of my favourite shows of late.

Leftovers:

Didn't really enjoy it. Ending cheesy as f*ck. The episode about his dad searching for Christopher Sunday was really enjoyable, though.

Started on The Leftovers after reading all the fuzz on here, i'm 6 episodes in now and it's sort of catchy but mostly it's just weird and annoying...is there even a real plot here? Cause i feel like i'm wasting my (oh so precious) time.
There's definitely a plot - which gets increasingly nuts in seasons 2 and 3. Stick with it though, the first season is the weakest by quite a distance.

That "orgy" on the bus was pure filth !!!

That "orgy" on the bus was pure filth !!!

Yes it was.

Slink is possibly my favourite character from any show, the actor is doing a great job.

You are supposed to dislike him due to the story, but I just can't help to love him.

Just finished Ozark, a Netflix original. In a nutshell it's about a finance guy laundering money for a Mexican drug cartel and the lengths he has to go to to protect his family. Yes, if being super critical could say it's a bit formulaic but what it does it does really well. Looking back it reminds me of how the Coen brothers might tell a story give or take. Anyhow it's 10 episode story is a blast and I'd recommend it. I loved it!

Just started watching How To Get Away With Murder... is every character meant to be wholly unlikable? is that the point of the show?

Anyone watching Manhunt: Unabomber?

Not sure if it's aired in the UK yet.

Got what showed up as an hour long ad on YouTube which ended up being the first episode of Get Shorty.

Seemed alright...not sure where I'm supposed to be watching it though.

The Sinner is 91% on rotten tomatoes. The plot looks good.

Two first episodes of The Last Ship season 4 got released today.

It is great mindless fun.

White Gold with Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl is on Netflix. Decently watchable show about some window salesmen in Essex

Isn't that the show for teenage girls and house wives?
Yes.

But it's hitting the spot for me. Nice wholesome family entertainment of a high(ish) quality.

I also think we are in a derth of strong female characters on tv at the moment. Where is Buffy? Where is Leszlie Knope? Where is Jessica Pearson?

Just started watching Game of Thrones, only 3 episodes in so far.
